I’ve got a couple questions about the combat system. 1. How is a 50/50 chance of success and failure fair? Like I get you can be very skilled at something and make mistakes, but the likelihood of a wizard whose only every used their dagger for utility making a last ditch stab with it when they run out of magic has the same likelihood of succeeding as a person who trained their whole life to use a dagger to kill? 2. By asking for a coin flip for every action in combat, you are going o severely slow things down. Considering people will have to fluff out a paragraph to basically say, I stab. Sure you can describe how you stab, and what happens to your last action, but I doubt you are always going to be active on here, as you no doubt have a life. So we will be waiting potentially a day or two, each time anyone makes an action in combat. Why not just use a honour system and trust/respect us enough to play a dark gritty game?
