Jennifer can otherwise be seen with her hair down in comfortable lounge attire if she's running errands or visiting family or friends. She doesn't have any tattoos and has only a minor scar on her wrist from a previous tussle with a notorious career criminal.

[b]Personality:[/b] Jennifer is at times outgoing and at times a loner, it all depends on her mood. She enjoys telling stories and joking around with her lifelong friends at the bar just as much as she can enjoy a glass of wine in her apartment cuddled up alone watching Netflix. Being she comes from a family filled with law enforcement officers, Jennifer was raised in a structured environment and that led her to develop OCD-like tendencies. Or in other words, she's a neatfreak. Currently single after a bit of a disastrous break up with her ex-fiance, Jennifer is not afraid to be a bit of a flirt whenever she finds herself in the presence of an attractive man.

[b]Background:[/b] Born and raised in Chicago as many previous generations within her lineage, Jennifer has never known life elsewhere save for the days or weeklong vacations she's taken in the past. She grew up alongside her older brother who is two years her senior, and that automatically led him to play her protector. Not that she needed it given she was one tough cookie as a child, or at least she put up such front. 

Schooling was never an issue for Jennifer. She had mostly As and Bs and every now and then, the occasional C. Whenever that would happen, her parents would punish her accordingly, whether that be doing extra chores around the house or prohibiting her from going out with friends. Not to say that she was sheltered; but the discipline instilled in her served her well in college and later on when she went on to pursue her career.

Jennifer got the chance to transfer to the role of detective a few years ago. She's kept her waterbending a secret from every soul on the face of the Earth except for her maternal grandmother who recently passed away. That means that if anyone in the police department were to find out about her bending, including her father who's currently a deputy chief—or her brother who's a lieutenant, getting kicked out of the department would be the least of her worries.
