The French title translates to Beauty and the Beast. It was my second time watching the film, and it was more enjoyable this time around. I did have to read the subtitles for children, who ended up being intrigued with the movie after an initial protest. Reading the subtitles was fun, but of course, my voice acting was nothing compared to the actual acting. The film is considered the best French film of all time, and honestly, I think it is one of my personal favorites, as well. The cinematography is beautiful. Or dare I say gorgeous? It’s thoughtful and deep and haunting. It’s whimsical and childlike and imaginative. And, as already stated, the acting is phenomenal. If you haven’t already seen it, you should give it a g, or if you have seen it, have another go at it!
