Fandom Concepts
Avatar: Return of the Legend Historic (18th-19th cen) - Fantasy - Adventure -- Avatar
There had once been a time when the world was at peace, and all the nations had lived as one. Society and nature were in perfect balance, and the world was a place of beauty and hope. Then, without any warning, an Alliance was formed; a merging of the four nations that sought power and control over the rest of their people. Armed with powerful benders of all breeds, including the most feared of their forces: The Blood Benders, the Alliance stormed the capitals of every nation, conquering all, and leaving no hope for the future. No hope...except for the Avatar... With the power to master all four elements, the Avatar was the only one strong enough to stop the Alliance, and restore peace and balance to the world once more. Backed by none other than himself and the power he held, the Avatar did all he could to reason with the Alliance, but in his attempts, he was lost, and with his fall, the Alliance only grew in power. War broke out as the surviving nations fought against the Alliance, but, in the end, the Alliance reigned supreme. Survivors fled, running to the furthest reaches of the world and burying themselves away, far from the controlled societies of the Alliance. Hunting down and destroying the next Avatar when she was just a small child, the Alliance made certain that their claim to power could never be challenged, and they swore to do the same unto every Avatar born thereafter. Still, people who refused to give in to the Alliance prayed for a new Avatar to be born, hoping that by some miracle, the next could be protected from the cruel hands of the Alliance, and the war could finally be brought to an end. Generations passed, and though the Alliance never managed to find another Avatar, so too did the next never make an appearance. In time, people abandoned their hope, and the Avatar was soon all but forgotten, becoming nothing more than an ancient legend, a bedtime story to soothe children from the nightmares of the Alliance. A new era has dawned, and the control of the Alliance has never been stronger as they slowly but steadily crack down on the remaining rebel fortresses scattered throughout the world. A young boy living in a little-known Alliance town has grown up with the gift of earth-bending and is a near-master of his skill just by trying. When the village is attacked by marauders, young Tokoh does all he can to protect his friends and fellow people, and in the heat of the moment, he counters a fire-bender's attack with flames of his own. As the town runs off the attackers, tensions and questions rise at the reveal of the boy's new-found ability, and, in the end, he is urged to leave; not because the people fear him or what dangers he may bring them, but because they know deep down that he is the only hope for their world, for even if they no longer believe it, the Avatar has finally returned. There could be a guy, but he'd just be a guy who's good at what he does and has served the Alliance all his life; other than that, I think the biggest conflict would be Tokoh's own morality since he grew up under the Alliance and all he'll know of the Rebels, eventually, is that they're just as bad as the Alliance since not only do they wanna use Tokoh as a weapon, but I can see them using the same tactics as the Alliance, right down to training blood-benders
WORLDBUILDING

I haven't seen LoK, so most of this is gonna be the original lore and world of AtLA, and besides that, I prefer the time period of AtLa over LoK anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Alliance is composed of peoples from all four nations, having powerful benders from each. They are mainly made up of benders, which is what makes them so strong, and they typically look down on non-benders, seeing them as inferior. Not only do they have blood-benders, but the vast majority of their fire-benders have blue flames and the ability to not just redirect lightning, but create it as well. In addition, their earth-benders also have metal-bending down pat. No joke, these people are powerful. They are run by a council of four, each with their own committee of generals and advisors. The highest ranked among the four is the water-bender, as they are obviously also a blood-bender and have the most power and control over others. Second in command is the fire-bender, followed by earth and finally air. All four hold equal rule over those below them, but this hierarchy is held amongst themselves, for whatever reason

Two Paths Modern - Fantasy - Adventure -- Undertale
When a pair of human children, identical twins with opposing SOULs, fall into the Underground, they are met with all the obstacles the world of monsters can offer...and more. Seeking only to make it out of the Underground alive, the older of the two siblings takes every chance to stand up and fight against the monsters who stand in their way. All the while, the younger of the two, makes every attempt to befriend as many of the monsters they meet as they can, and they begin to wonder why they would ever leave the Underground in the first place. As the twins find themselves facing very different paths, the younger sibling pleads for the older of the pair to come to their senses, but in the end, they find themself abandoned by their twin and ultimately left at the mercy of all those in their violent twin's path. It feels like it could truly be the end as the death of the Great Papyrus brings about the wrath of the skeleton's older brother upon the younger twin, but when it becomes clear that the younger of the two humans had no part in his brother's death, Sans makes...an effort to sympathize with the remaining child, and the two come to an understanding that the older twin must be stopped, and it'll take both of them to make that happen. He has vague memories of his father, but no more so than the fact that Gaster was deaf and "spoke in hands"
Possible point of interest: Gaster was married to the Riverperson, who is also secretly a skeleton; Sans and Papyrus are not the RP's children, given that Gaster created the bros with his magic, but they saw the young skeletons as their own and took care of them as such; after the incident, they were left with a connection to the Power of Reset that allows them to be aware of its existence, and more importantly, who possesses it. They're not as aware of timelines as Sans, since they never had the power, but they are able to know if they have met a SOUL in a previous timeline, which is how they are able to tell who has it

Lemme know if you have thoughts on anything!

Hybrid SOUL Modern - Fantasy - Adventure -- Undertale
When a strange child with a monster's SOUL falls into the Underground, a forgotten entity leaves his place in the void to see if they could be the answer he needs to return to his own timeline. However, this entity soon finds that this timeline is far different from his own and that this child is far more peculiar than he originally sensed. Finding he is, for whatever reason, bound to this child's SOUL, "Friend", as the entity comes to be called, insists to the human that they must make their way to the Capital and face the king of the monsters, Asgore, so they may escape the Underground and return to their home, and he can be released to return to where he came from as well. Along the way, however, the child becomes more and more enamored with the monsters' world, having never felt so at ease...so...welcomed... And as a result, their friend finds himself fearing more and more that he may be trapped in this foreign timeline...for good.
