What about a retired marine that they're trying to bring back to former glory? Or at least keep him useful because he was loyal to the company for x years? Like maybe someone who got very ill and frail due to cancer or something?

Like, our guys just ain't gonna know how to survive military life, so a potential mentor of sorts could be useful? Teach 'em how to give hell, so to speak...
