[indent]For pretty much the entirety of his high school career, Benji has been shotgunning and schmoozing with the best of them. His dad, Alexander Mayhew, helped manage the finances of some of the biggest names in Hollywood, and that came with benefits. A beast on the field and on the ice, and an affable jokester in the halls, Benji was one of those guys that was hard to hate. You might've wanted to, because of everything he represented, and the way life just seemed to shift into place around him, but when he slung his arm around your shoulder and invited you to the next big party...well, all of that just sort of melted away. It all went to shit last year when Mr. Mayhew was revealed as Beverly Hills' own Bernie Madoff. After the very public arrest of Alexander, and Benji's own very public nervous breakdown, Benji and his mom moved in with his aunt, a woman who made all her money and lost all her marbles back in the eighties. Benji more or less fell off the grid all summer, before returning to school with a smaller wardrobe and slightly less smiles. Everyone, including Benji himself, seems to just be waiting to see if he'll break again.

Calli has always been the self-proclaimed “fun triplet.” If she isn’t practicing her lacrosse throws or prepping for soccer season, she’s usually with the Elite, cheering on whatever idiocy they’ve gotten themselves into on that particular day. She’s an adrenaline junkie by nature, always looking for the next great high. Calli wants new experiences, new people, new sensations, and she wants to look great while doing it. She lives for those moments where her blood is pumping and her heart is racing and she is on top of the world. Life is a juicy fucking peach, and she wants to go all Timothee Chalamet on it. She finds the seemingly endless drama that surrounds her classmates silly, but that doesn’t mean she won’t stir the pot a little bit.
