While she is able to fill her life at the estate with interesting activities and projects, she has become rather aimless in life as she has little concern for her personal needs and few avenues to help others meet theirs. An adventure will likely awaken her personal drive and give her purpose.

I suppose the shapeshfiting is more inspired by the themes of her ability and her personality. I based her intuition on things that different animals can do.
