The sunlight peered into Isaos room, tickling his face until he finally awoke. He begrudgingly opened his eyes looking towards his alarm clock to see it was barely 6:30. He put his arms over his head and let out deep yawn. He layed in bed for a few more minutes until he slowly got to his feet. He made his way over to his closet and put on gray shirt with the sleeves cut off that covered his scar covered back. He then quickly put on the rest of his clothing and began to analyze his weapons pouch. I should add two more kunai, 3 more paper bombs and five more shuriken. There is no telling what my sensei has in store for me... He could be from the age of draconian methods like my father or he could have a more subtle approach... If anything it is best to be prepared. he the thought to himself as he fastened the pouch to the right side of his hip. He then picked up his headband from the mantle and fastened it around his waist like a belt. Isao then made his way over to the window that overlooked the courtyard of the Kiriyama compound. He grabbed the tape and began to wrap his hands while he gazed out onto the courtyard. So peaceful... What better day to meet my teammates, I hope they like me though as I didn't get along with too many at the academy. Hopefully this will be a chance for me to start anew. he eagerly thought to himself as he grabbed his Kusarigama and bolted out the door. Within a few minutes he had made it into town and began to head towards his favorite curry shop. Isao figured since he had some time to kill he might as well get a some breakfast. Once he made his way to the shop he heard all of the cliental gossiping about the events that had transpired in the night. Apparently one Jonin beat one of his students within an inch of her life. The next tragedy that was spoken of was the suicide of Kirugetsu Hozukai. Apparently he had killed two of his own students before succumbing to his own funeral pyre. Isao wasn't in complete disbelief at what he heard but found it a bit off on how they just snapped. Something had to have triggered this or maybe this somewhat peaceful way of life was too much for these men bear. Such events put a damper on things throughout the village but not for him. This was his chance to start fresh from the problems he ran into when trying make friends at the academy. With that thought he quickly finished his beef curry leaving the money on the counter as he rushed towards the training grounds. Isao soon arrived at the training grounds fifteen minutes early completely unaware that his sensei was there. He figured since he was the first one there that he would post up against one of the training logs as he eagerly awaited his new team. I wonder what they'll be like.... Maybe there will be cute girl in my squad or even someone that I could become best friends with. I always kept my distance from the other genin I fought with as I knew that the chances of them surviving missions was slim....but now things have changed hopefully for the better. he thought to himself as he gazed upon the training fields as he awaited for the start of the next chapter in his life.
