The view screen changed, switching to the data from the screen of the sensors station. His eyes lit up orange as he communicate with other units in the system. The AI spoke again. The point defenses targeted the capsules and destroyed them quickly, just in time to see the two contacts jump to lightspeed
"Space units, move to intercede" The AI ordered, and the ships launched after the hostile ships, using conventional FTL drives so that they could follow and track the enemy ships, a feat which dropping into the other universe for travel wouldn't have allowed.
