Assallya didn't know what to make of the small inn and she was deciding what to do when she caught sight of the trio headed in their direction. It took her a long moment to recognize the figures approaching. At first she thought they were elves, the skin, the kilted eyes, the tapered ears and the mystical nature of them. It was with horror she came to realize what they were. Nymphs. To even behold one was to become blind and a single kiss from one was to experience a bliss so profound that the heart could not survive being without it. They were creatures of the Fae, cousins to the elvishkind. Why some of them chose to make their home in the world of men instead of the lands of the Fae was beyond the ken of man... and then there was the blindness! -and yet, she was still able to see... Overcoming a sense of initial shock, the blue eyed sorceress broke her lingering gaze with the deadly nymphs. Then, sheepishly, brought her gaze up to meet them. A nymph could suppress her power but Assallya didn't want to deal with the results of one of them slipping and losing their grip on the ability. She wasn't very comfortable with the giant tree either. That stepped out afterwards, in the wake of the three girls. The tall lanky thing lumbered out of the forests and, according to the nymphs, offered to carry her within. Who was she to argue with that? As much as she despised trees and forests it certainly beat attempting to climb down from the top of the tall wagon. "Thank you Traben," she said as he lifted her into the treant's arms.
