New Paris, Mars A huge crowd of protesters marched outside of the capital building, holding the classic cardboard signs. It was a sight much like the protests that gave rise to the Draconian War. The war that was supposed to redeem humanity. The signs didn't have "Kill the beasts!" written on them this time around, now they had "We are not inferior!" on them. It seemed like a simple peaceful protest, well within EA law. However, these people didn't represent any minority, they represented nearly all of humanity. They were told that the war would redeem humanity, yet the Doctrine was still law. They believed that humanity had been redeemed, yet they had been protesting for a week now and no comment had been made. However, today Yuuki Sora had decided to appear as a robotic avatar to deliver the official message. "The Doctrine is still true!" She cried out at the top of her lungs "Humanity is not redeemed! We cowered behind Triarian lines through a fourth of the war!" One of the protesters, wearing a religious garb, yelled up at Yuuki. "How do we know that? How can we be sure that humans are the chosen species under one God?" Yuuki responds, perhaps a bit too aggressive for her own good. "You're treading on thin ice there, do you mean to say that your religion is the only possible true one?" "Yes I do!" "That's against the Doctrine! You are defying EA law!" "I do not follow EA law anymore!" Screams the protester, pulling out a projectile pistol. Other protesters pull out weapons as well, but they do not all turn it on EA personnel, some turn it on members of the other religions. The protester that first spoke fires at Yuuki, who rolls out of the bullet's path. "You will be punished for disobedience of the Doctrine!" She screams, and fires off multiple railgun shots using the avatar's built in weapons. EA dropships were called in by the security officers, some of whom turned their lasers on their comrades. When they finally reached the scene, it was an all out battle. Some dropships began firing on the protesters, and they weren't using stunners. However, most began fighting for the various protester factions against eachother. The loyal humans tried to fight the rebels, but they were quickly taken down by the traitors. Only the Abh and Dolphins remained loyal to the official government, and they tried as best they could to put down the rebellion. However, news of the battle quickly reached other planets, and the newly dubbed "Human Supremacists" started more battles. But just like the first, the rebels divided into multiple religious factions. A distress signal was sent out from Mars the moment the government was informed of the other rebellions, it reached out into the galaxy in a sphere, informing all of the horrors to come. "The beliefs have clashed once more! The Doctrine has been rejected, people are being kille din the name of religion! IT's the Common Sense War all over again!" EAS McClain, Fergus' Ship "That is true, but I see now starships above her world, and when I saw her during the war it was obvious they were in the middle of the industrial age. So the question is, does she have a million lifetimes to wait?" Just as he finished speaking, a communication came in from Mars. He looked up at Faust with horror in his eyes, and it was obvious something terrible had happened. "It's happened again, the Common Sense War. I was afraid of this, I have to get to the bridge!" Fergus ran out of the room, rushing towards the bridge. When he reached the lift he ran into without a second thought and overrode the previous command, sending it rocketing up to the bridge. He practically flew out of it once it reached Deck 001, and gave an order to his all-Abh bridge crew. "Protocol Cleanse, initiate brain scan of all crewmembers via medical nanobot and terminate anyone who shows traitorous intent against Doctrine!" His crew complied, and dozens of crew were killed on the spot by the nanobots that they were told would only protect them. It was more obvious than ever now that the only reason humanity ever stayed together was the Doctrine. Now that it had been rejected, it was up to the few loyal humans, along with the Dolphins and Abh, to restore order through any means necessary. Even if it meant the extermination of his own species. Orc Diplomacy "I don't think so, have a nice d-" Dmitri was interrupted by a communication, which he played neurally. Whatever it was, it put a look of horror on his face. "You have to leave! Our Doctrine has been rejected by the citizens, they'll kill you!" The Empress had obviously gotten the same message, and also spoke. "I will have Abh starships assigned to protect you, a war such as this happened before in the history of the humans. They committed horrors unimaginable against everyone that didn't share their beliefs, they'll undoubtedly try to exterminate you if they find out!" Message to all ships and planets of other Empires "Do not approach former Earth Alliance space! The Doctrine has been rejected, the rebels will fire upon any ship that holds someone who does not share their beliefs! All trade vessels will be escorted out of dangerous space by loyalist vessels, the Abh need not be avoided, they all appear loyal to Doctrine."
