Mars The governor, who already had his coilgun in his hand, reluctantly stays behind and hands the weapon to one of his aids, who runs out into the battle. "The assistance of other nations is forbidden in this war, unless it would be an insult to not allow them to help. It is our fault that we are a stupid and evil species, and it's our job to fix that through any means possible. Nobody else should pay for our faults." Orc Diplomacy "We need ground troops in the largest city's square, that's where most of the fighting is. Your people can probably take out the multiple enemy combatants there with ease." Research The Loyalists have begun attempting to create a TNV (Targeted Nanovirus), that will target individuals with specific DNA structures and wipe them out. This research was initiated by Fergus McClain, who has become the wartime leader due to his exploits in the Common Sense War. A release of such a virus would likely cause extinction of the targeted species, and leaked info suggests that the target is humanity. Kepler Alliance The loyalists are obvious angered by the declaration, but they know that they are powerless to stop it. Only after the war can they hope to bring them back into the EA, which they plan to rename. Seriously, Earth is gone, it shouldn't be called the Earth Alliance. Unknown Location, Former Draconian Planet Weapons fire of all types could be heard, and the painful screams of many made it all to clear that lasers were being used. Aircraft floated about the sky, firing on practically anything they could see. The war had reached the last colony containing Draconians. The loyalists had no orders, only the knowledge that they were outnumbered and outgunned. Actually, "loyalists" isn't the correct term, it would be "loyalist". Only one person was left. The sole survivor ran through the streets of the colony, the near-misses of enemy laserfire burning his shoulders. He fired off coilgun shots blindly behind him, hoping to drop a few rebels before he died himself. He saw a door in one of the larger buildings, and abruptly ran in without a second thought. When he got inside, he was met with the single most terrifying sight a civilian of the colony could see: a Draconian. He had never seen a Draconian before, but it was obvious that the creature was one of them. They were chained up against the wall, probably for not meeting the demands of a human. All the other Draconians had tried to run when the battle broke out, but they were probably killed by troops of all factions. Of course, he had heard the stories of Draconian aggression, this one could kill him in seconds if they wanted to. But they didn't, and their face clearly conveyed fear even to a human. He was saddened by what had become of this specific Draconian, what if they were a civilian who didn't even support the war? Whatever this Draconian was, the human man set them free that day. He uncoupled the chains holding him in, and they ran to the spaceport without even saying a word to each other. Once the two reached the spaceport, they found the intense bloodbath at it. All of the factions were fighting over the landed attack ships, hoping to get at least one warship for their cause. They moved around the battle, and got to the gangway of the EAS Basroil, one of the newer ships sent out to the colony. Once inside, they found an Abh crew already making the preparations for takeoff. They expected to be taken prisoner, but the Abh leader took one look at the Draconian and the human and decided to let them stay. The two sat down in the acceleration seats as the ship took off, its projected warp ring beginning to power up to take them to the closest inhabited safe planet.
