Whether you grew up in this quaint, small town, or whether you are just visiting, things are about to change. You are about to enter a brand new level of hell...and just walking away is not an option. Let the bloodshed begin; can you survive? Ashenport, a very small coastal town has always been pretty peaceful. Almost zero crime, beyond the resident drunk stirring up trouble. Everyone knows each other, and while there may be a feud here and there, for the most part the townspeople look out for eachother. Or so it seems. But beneath the surface, underneath that small town cheer, there’s a secret. A buried secret, long hidden and soon to be discovered. Because not everyone in this little town looks out for one-another. It wasn’t so long ago that there was a young man, who lost his wife in a car accident. She was hit by a drunk driver, and for the first time in years scandal struck the town of Ashenport. The man who struck her down was charged with manslaughter, served a handful of years in prison--and came right back to the town, living in isolation. Now, 27 years later, something is happening to Ashenport. A thick fog descends. Most of the towns inhabitants are missing….or dead. Day and night seem chaotic, shifting at seemingly random intervals. There are strange noises heard in the woods outside Ashenport...and something lurks in the water. Much of the town appears to be run down, abandoned, as if nobody has lived in the buildings for years….and yet it was just yesterday that the place was bustling and full of that small town charm. What is happening to Ashenport? What evil has befallen the town? That is for you to find out--if you want to survive. “Survive, you must have the will…” ---- The Rules ▸ This roleplay is mature--that means there will be blood, violence, etc. All RPG rules apply. ▸ Two Characters are allowed per person ▸ Please limit “outsiders.” We’d like to get the main town characters filled up first-if you want an outsider character, please ask first :) ▸An obvious one: No Godmodding. Control your own character, nobody likes their characters being forced to do stuff they didn’t intend to do. ▸ Please respect the GM and co-GM. If we ask you to change something on your CS or in your post, don’t take it personal--there’s a very good reason for it! ▸ Remember there’s a difference between OOC knowledge and IC knowledge; just because you know something, doesn’t mean your character does! ▸ Absolutely no one liners--that kinda kills a roleplay. ▸ Please stick with the given information about characters. This roleplay is rather linear in that there is a designated plot, and necessary characters. While you are given freedom with personality and looks, and all that fun stuff, we DO ask you stick with the background information we have given. Also, certain characters are vital to the plot, and if you choose one with some backstory important to the roleplay, you will receive a PM with the details. ▸ If you drop this roleplay after declaring interest and making a character, that is a good way to really irritate the hell out of us--and I won’t trust you in any future RP’s either, so please don’t do it! ▸ Roleplaying is supposed to be fun, so have fun! Just remember to PM the GMs if you can’t post for awhile, we don’t like being left in the dark! So enjoy the story, and all that :) --- Character Sheet: Name: Age: Physical Description: (You can use a picture, but no anime please) Role: (which character you are playing) Personality: (5 positive traits, and 5 negative traits) Biography: (Please be detailed here! For plot important characters: wait until you get a PM) Relationships: (Please update as characters are being accepted into the roleplay. Describe your relationship with each person; That could be anything from enemy, crush, to stranger. This is something we'd like to update as the roleplay advances too!) Nightmare: (Each character has their own unique monsters that only they can see--at first. The longer people spend together, the greater the chance that these “hallucinations” bleed over, allowing others to see them. These should be unique only to your character--be detailed here) For the love of all things holy please delete things in the parenthesis before submitting a CS!
