Yes, he still lives with his parents, but because his father is usually traveling to get money for the next meal, it's just him and his mother.
Atrus' father is a spellsword, but he is rarely ever around and it is usually just him and his mother. His mother is quite smart in her own right, and she did take Alchemy in as a hobby in her younger years. He hadn't learned any spells of any sort and highly prefers alchemy over spell casting.
