Lynn - Underground / Cells Lynn groaned as they threw her into a cell. For some reason Tyler hadn't released the third walker on her. It was the perfect time to kill her. She wouldn't have been able to fight it in her current state. She crawled over to a sitting position against the wall, trying to take shallow breaths because deep ones hurt. She coughed and spat out some blood. She hoped to God she didn't have cracked ribs. Those hurt like hell and took a long f---ing time to heal. She let her head fall to the side, looking at the cell across from hers. A young girl was in it, crying. She was the one from before... Well she obviously hadn't been 'tried out' but any of the men yet, otherwise she'd been in the area with the expectant mothers. "Come on kid, don't cry. At least you don't look as bad as I do," she quipped, trying to make the girl laugh. Lynn winced and closed her eyes. "God damn bastards. They broke my nose." She lifted her hand to wipe away the blood on her face. "Look, if it makes any difference you'll be treated like a princess. Tyler doesn't let anything hurt his women. He'll probably keep you for himself since you're so young. You'll get a safe place, good food and protection from the rest of the animals in this place. It's not much, but it's all you've got now." She paused and shook her head, laughing a little although it was painful. "I'm sorry I suck at providing comfort. Never been good at being soft and stuff. Jess is better at that. That's why she's gonna be a great mom. Me? I'd choose a gun over a baby any day. Got nothing against 'em, they're just not my thing. Maybe that's why Tyler didn't want me anymore..." She shook her head. "Sorry, pain is making me chatty. Ignore me and my rambling." Jessalyn - Haywood - Alone Eventually someone came and untied her. They gave her food and left without speaking to her. Jess ate because the baby needed it. They came and took the plate when she was done, but still said nothing even when she tried to speak to them. Had Bruce ordered them to give her the silent treatment? She wouldn't have put it past him. The isolation was the worst. She hated being alone. It made her sad. Loneliness was like a dark cloud hanging over her. She wanted Lynn... She wanted Floyd... Jess paced until she got too tired to walk anymore. Then she sat against the wall. Then she laid down on the floor, using her arm for a pillow. It wasn't that cold in the room, but she still wished she had a blanket to curl up in. Something to burrow into and hide, like a rabbit in it's hole. "It's going to be okay," she whispered to her baby, running her hands soothingly over her stomach. "I love you. That's all the matters." She started humming a simple lullaby for her baby, to comfort both it and herself.
