In the midst of the charging process of the hostile ships, all the active mines present were set to trigger, firing extreme-strength lasers against the Seeder ships and then exploding in a brilliant shine moments later after their energy reserves have been depleted. Many miners were safely sheltered behind the asteroids, but some were caught and sustained severe injures, of which are being treated immediately.

The patrol ships have been set to fire quark-gluon plasma and dark matter explosives at any hostiles they can find. One miner ship has been safely escorted back towards the nearest world, travelling via wormhole.
