I paused, she's the third one to trust her instincts. "You pass the first test, Clara," I say as I click my fingers in the still air. Suddenly, within a split second, the paper dissapears from her hand and appears into mine, as if it was always there to begin with. "Intrigued now, I wager, let's see how you fare on the second one," I tell her. I click my fingers and the paper once again dissapears from my hands into hers, seemlessly as if it always existed there. "Three hours. You have three hours to figure out not only what that symbol is, but what it does. No, before you ask, it is not teleportation." With that said, I twist my chair around and head off, quietly slipping another piece of paper across the bar. If she's the one, I need to know how much danger she's in. I settle back into my original spot, finally relaxing a bit. Too many people looking at me, it's always uncomfortable.
