Wesley progressed at a far faster rate than any member of the Fraternity had ever seen, Sloan even touted Wesley as the most naturally gifted killer on the planet. Truly, the man now known as The Killer seems to have a subconscious knack for taking life in all forms; knives, guns, explosives, poisons, if it can be used to kill, Wesley is its master, greater than anyone, even within The Fraternity, could hope to be. Amplifying his already substantial abilities, Wesley has effectively subconscious control over the flow of his adrenaline, which allows him to surpass the limits of the human body to perform feats akin to a superhuman. The most notable and deadly of these abilities is Wesley's practically superhuman reflexes and ability to perceivably slow down the flow of time itself. Able to cause his heart to pump at nearly four hundred beats per minute, The Killer is capable of spotting and even combating adversaries with superhuman speed, though he must actively keep them at range, lest he be decimated in close quarters. This is not to say Wesley is a common thug when it comes to hand to hand combat, quite the contrary, Wesley is simply aware of his own shortcomings. The most well known of The Fraternity and Wesley's abilities and what puts them leagues above every other assassin on Earth is that of making almost any shot, at any angle, at almost any distance, look like child's play. With firearms powerful enough and ballistics capable of traveling across entire cities, The Fraternity has kept itself secret by virtue of how impossible their killings are, whether it be shooting a man through the head on top of an apartment building almost two miles over to bending a bullet from atop a moving train into a seated man's heart in a business meeting, The Fraternity is an urban legend amongst the World's conspiracy theorists. (I'll probably put some nifty things like how intelligent and what other sort of feats Wesley is capable of later.) Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Character Notes [Established Rogues, NPCs, etc]: The Fraternity of America Sloan - The Grandmaster of The American Fraternity, Sloan became aware of The Council of Five through Mister Rictus and began manipulating the Loom of Fate to further his own wealth and devices after his own name came up in a kill order. Following his assassination by Wesley, The Council of Five has manipulated the various Looms around the world to pit not only the entirety of The International Fraternities against him, but revealed Wesley's identity and whereabouts to the various mafia families and corrupt businessmen Wesley had effectively been making himself an enemy of for years. The Fox - Wesley's first contact within the underground organization of assassins known as The Fraternity, The Fox operated mainly as Wesley's mentor during his time in The Mill. Joining the Fraternity following her family's murder, Fox imprinted upon Wesley the code of "Kill one, save a thousand." during Wesley's assault on the American Fraternity, Fox committed suicide when Sloan falsely revealed her name had come up on the Loom. Cross - The first assassin to operate under the alias of "The Killer" and Wesley's father, Cross is a legend within the underworld, the greatest assassin to ever live. Until Wesley. Practically unknown even amongst the world's superhuman population, Cross had been systematically hunting down members of The Fraternity following his discovery of Sloan's betrayal of the code, Cross was subsequently killed by his own son, resulting in Wesley's vendetta against not only The Fraternity, but Mister Rictus. The Council of Five The Professor - Mister Rictus - Received Australia when the continents were divided by The Council, Mister Rictus is the most nefarious and notorious member of The Five, architect of The Fraternity, and the mastermind behind its demise. Finding Wesley's assault of The Fraternity amusing, Rictus revealed the true nature of the Assassins to him, causing Wesley's emergence as a Freelance Assassin For Hire. Following the murder of Shithead and Fuckwit by Wesley, Rictus has pooled all of his respective resources to killing The Killer. Adam-One - The oldest man on Earth and presumably its only immortal, Adam-One has outlived several dozen generations of his descendants and become the most influential criminal mastermind of Africa. Adam-One is one of the three councilors opposing Mister Rictus and The Future in order to maintain the Council's secrecy, and has sent out kill orders on Wesley in order to prevent the former plaything of Rictus to leak the Council's existence to the public. Ching-Sang The Emperor - A master of mysticism and ruler of Asia, Ching-Sang has been complacent during the Council's years of privacy, but is quickly becoming more and more restless as Earth's various super-beings soak in the limelight, and as such, his allegiance to The Professor and Adam-One is shaky at best, but both sides know his support is almost invaluable. The Future - A man out of time, The Future is a radical Nazi super soldier from the early days of World War 2 and the result of extensive alien technological tampering and genetic modification from Germany's top scientists of the time. Trapped under an avalanche by Indiana Jones, The Future has only recently emerged from his pit, becoming The Council's representative in Europe. Only known supporter of Rictus' plan to go public. Allies and Former Acquaintances Aleksander Pekwarsky - Barry Goldman - Lisa Angelis - Wesley's emotionally abusive ex-girlfriend, allegedly pregnant with Wesley's child. Key Locations Chicago, Illinois – Wesley's hometown and current base of operations, stuff goes here The Mill – The Compounds - Background and Story So Far: Sample Post (At least 3 well thought out paragraphs as well as some dialogue):
