More Renaming The AIF has switched their former EAS designation to the new IFV [Name], standing for Interstellar Federation Vessel. Seeder Threat (Space "WHAT?! They're ramming us at FTL speeds? Try a combination of formation Cog and formation Arrow! Formation Cog always works!" Fergus was just a slight bit desperate at this point, he hadn't lost a battle yet and he was determined to make sure this was not the first time. The ships, already in the Arrow formation, began to transfer shield strength to the ships closer to the point of the fleet, and the shields of all ships aligned to form a sharp wall, strongest at the IFV McClain. The Seeder ships hit that wall at full speed, and the one headed straight for the McClain was split directly in half. The shields near the back of the formation were completely ripped apart, along with the ships creating them. The wall as a whole was weakened, but it seemed like most of the Seeder ships had been taken out by ramming the barrier. It was fighting fire with fire, actually, more like fighting insanity with insanity. The IFV McClain then sent a transmission to the Triarian flagship, it was a personal one from Fergus himself. "Oh well, I'll be available right after we finish moping up these insane idiots." Seeder Threat (Ground) Seeing the Triarian tactic, the Federation forces began to help by doing the same to parts of the ocean not being used as bases. The dropships began to vaporize the oceans using their laser weapons, squadrons cutting huge swaths in the water. Meanwhile, on land, the shielded cities began launching newly arrived antimatter missiles at particularly large spore "boils", as they had been named, along with the landing enemy ships. Of course, there had to be a backup plan. In the event that the planet is taken by the Seeders, an entire civilization will be built underwater, and a single dark matter explosive will be manufactured. Using deep core mining technology, it will then be inserted into the planet. Evac ships will be constructed and launched towards far-off colonies, and then the explosive will be detonated, destroying the planet. Seeder Threat (Homefront) When the Seeder ships arrived in AIF systems, the forces in those systems were ready. They began brutal attacks on the ships, using desperate tactics to ensure the survival of the planets they were defending. It then became apparent that the Seeders had made a mistake in trying to attack AIF planets. Their planets had undergone constant fortification efforts for ten years straight, and every single one had extensive orbital weaponry platforms, along with missile batteries containing millions of mobile antimatter mines. These defenses came online the moment the Seeder ships entered the system, and began firing every weapon they had to take them out. Makudan Leak The AIF has sent a message to the Makudan on the subject of the document that was leaked, the message was specifically designed to be viewed by other empires as well. "Your people have shown incredible restraint and mercy in your history, only 12,000 individuals? That's incredible! Oh, wait, you meant species! How foolish of me! Well, in that case, let me congratulate you on your upcoming state of war with the Equiis Pact! Have fun being dead!" Yuanon Incident Director Ck-Tsanu, Antimatter production facility Beta-22 on Europa. "An accident has occurred at our facility. One of the particle accelerators has produced a neutrino with a helicity of -1. All known neutrinos have a positive helicity. As suspected by physicists, this particle seems to contain nearly unlimited energy. Further scans have shown a phase variance of this particle, which our Abh scientist has named a 'Yuanon'. We have chartered a starship to bring this particle to the Central Research Facility on Mars. While we're not entirely sure, we think that the extreme energy of this particle is caused by a connection to another universe." Orc Commendation Dmitri Saveli stepped forward, moving to stand directly in front of the Orc leader. Hundreds of other diplomats moved to stand before the rest of the soldiers, each one holding an incredibly detailed sculpture of Earth. The sculpture was suspended above a plate but a negative energy coating on the bottom. It was held close to that plate by four tractor beams, glowing blue as the light reflected off the air. Engraved on the plates were the words "May the memory never die". Every diplomat said the same thing, along with Dmitri. "Like the memory of the birthword Terra, the memory of your deeds shall never be forgotten. You have defended the citizens of the Allied Interstellar Federation without even being asked to, in fact, you defended them despite our own objections. Such nobility is rare in the cosmos, and you are a shining beacon of it."
