Speaking of, you guys should set up some torches around the starting area. That way, even if people die horribly in the night phase, the new players have a sort of safe zone.

Even better would be to build a sort of safety hut that new players spawn in and old ones can hang out at. Anyone with digging tools could start making a tunnel from there, too.
