Lucilia Riovas As Grey chatted, Lucilia began to cut open his arm with surgical precision. She had to be careful not to cause him to bleed out, so she did take some precautions and went about her business slowly. For the most part, there wasn't much complications in the operation. She managed to reach the location of the break and identify what she needed to do. But while she was operating, she did notice something odd. "Runes?" Strange. She had heard of some who had runes etched into their bodies, some even into their bones, but they were far and few. Not to mention pricy. Grey was either secretly rich or well connected to have them carved into his own bones. But what did they do, she wondered? Lucilia continued to cut open his flesh to investigate and chatted with Grey to keep his distracted. "Oh, I wouldn't say that. Zaad brings his own brand of trouble, mostly with others. He tends to test peoples patience. Unfortunately, some people lose their patience and, well, cause trouble. But since you've come along and kept an eye on him, he's been busy trying to avoid you. Which means no one else has to deal with him..." Lucilia than shot a look at Meirin, who was just standing there. "...Usually. But things could be worse if it weren't for you. But please, promise us that you won't over do it? I know Zaad, like all demons, can be a pain in the ass, but don't get yourself hurt on his behalf. If possible, hurt Zaad instead." Lucilia didn't even bother to hide her own distaste for demonkind as she used unique tools to alter some of Grey's Runes. She may have been the teacher of Herbmancy and was a master Alchemist, but she didn't spend all her time at the college on just those two subjects. She was no Runecrafter, but she knew her way around them nonetheless. And now she could test her skills... After some close calls, Lucilia set Grey's broken bones and began close up his arm. But when she got to the point she needed to suture it close, she cursed quietly when she realized she had no needles. She could still bandage up Grey's arm, but it would leave an awful scarring if she didn't close it up properly. "Meirin, would you be a dear and head to the infirmary and pick up some suturing needles for me?" Lucilia began measuring Grey's arm to determine what sort of cast she should fit him with. She was a bit excited for what she discovered in Grey's Anatomy, more so if what she did turns out well. Or not. Hey, she was trying to help Grey.
