[center][b]Guildfall: The Darkness[/b][/center]

Imagine if RolePlayerGuild was a large mega-city. Picture the different sections of the site as sections within that city. Now imagine that the Guildfall event at the beginning of the year was a series of disasters that has left RPG crippled and on the brink of annihilation. A virus outbreak, earthquakes, an ominous Black Fog and the appearance of a dark, Sentient Ooze. All of these things have caused untold amounts of chaos and destruction within the once-thriving city. However, on top of all this, Mahz, the esteemed and revered leader of the city, has gone missing without a trace. Now, trapped within the place that they used to call home, survivors have been forced to defend themselves by fortifying the Casual & Advanced Sections of the city. Most of the other sections are either blocked off or uninhabitable, whilst the remaining few are too dangerous to survive in. What could have caused these sudden destructive happenings? Who could be behind it? And what is the reason for this attack on a city many have come to love?

[b]RPG Welcomes All![/b] [i]RolePlayerGuild is home to many people all over the globe of all colours, shapes and sizes. With that in mind, your character can be from any race you'd like. Be it a Demon, Fairy, Anthro, Vampire or any other race you can think of! (Gods/Demi-Gods excluded)[/i]

[b]Play As Your Friends![/b] [i]Providing you gain their permission first, feel free to create a character sheet based on any of your friends who have joined the site or even introduce them as NPCs. Who knows, maybe they'll even join up themselves?[/i]

[b]Freeform Sandbox-Style Play![/b] [i]Take charge of your own actions within the city. March forth into the Free Section to fight the infected hordes. Prove yourself as a fighter by entering the Arena Section and take part in the eternal battle that rages on between members. Attempt to discover the secrets behind the Sentient Ooze or the cause of the Black Fog. Or you could even venture down into one of the many vast chasms caused by the earthquakes, who knows what you'll find down there?[/i]

[b]Missions & Quests![/b] [i]Missions and Quests will handed out by myself for you to complete in order to advance the story. Only once a number of missions have been completed will the story then progress, helping to make sure that nobody gets left behind. (Creation of your own side-missions is possible, provided they are accepted by a GM first)[/i]

[b]PvE & PvP![/b] [i]Within the remaining sections of the city, you will find many opportunities to do battle against the NPCs that threaten your continued survival or amongst yourselves. The Arena Section of the city is specifically PvP-based with the only way out being death. (PvE missions set within the Arena Section are the only exclusion to the No Exit Rule)[/i]

[b]GM/Assistant Spots Available![/b] [i]I'm hoping to make this RP quite extensive, meaning I'll need help to run it. I am looking for a Co-GM and at least 2 Assistant Mods to help with the smooth running of this RP. Please PM me if you wish to apply. (Prior experience preferred but not required)[/i]

[b]Always Open![/b] [i]If all goes well, then new players should be able to join at any time and easily pick up the plot at the same point as everyone else. It is my wish that always being Open will encourage a healthy amount of players to take part in this harrowing tale, based on the Guild's real life experience.[/i]
