that is very understandable, and i know for the sake of lore it may not fly. however the courier did survive Big Mountain and could have easily sold some of his fantastic loot. It would be rare if he did sell off a proton axe. It would be really expensive but she stole it from the Vangraffs anyways. also other things have survived Big mountain. Ulysees, Father Elijah, and robodogs ect. It is worth the shot to see if I get it or not. If yes, hooray. If not, looks like i get to have a lead pipe.
