When you write in the sorceress, just come up with something useful she might be doing to prepare for a journey ahead.. perhaps gathering and sorting her supplies... or pouring over maps and charts of where she might go.... and scribing some notes or sketches in a travel log for the journey ahead.

When the trio shows that they are among the best gathered, they will probably be put on point ahead of the other patrols, once they come up with ways of helping you sneak around. A ranger/scout/tracker type and a cleric/druid of some kind will likely be assigned to your patrol as well... for a patrol of six.

You'll also be encouraged to find means of concealing yourselves as you travel, and to consider finding a way of muffling Thorgill's firearm.
