"Um, I know him a little..." She simply knew Xyden as the male naga. But that wasn't important, as now it seemed spies were afoot. She could imagine who; there was two armies just camping outside of the college. No doubt they sent their agents to steal college secrets. But Lucilia asked Meirin to get those needles... Surely she would understand, however, that this was much more important. Though she prayed that Grey would recover even if she's a bit late on the delivery. "Alright, let's go! If we're lucky, we might run into the spies ourselves and stop them." Meirin turned and began running, despite not knowing where the spies were. So instead she ran towards the courtyard, to reach the teacher's building and try to find anyone to help. But she found something else along the way. When she arrived to the courtyard, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. A bear, attacking a student! Meirin didn't bother to try to analyze the situation, she just jumped in and attacked. The bear loomed over the fallen student, no doubt planning on eating him, but instead was met with Meirin's foot right onto the side of it's face. It was a large beast, but Meirin was no small human. This same kick was strong enough to fell the trees back at her home in the mountains, and she did not imagine that the bear's face would fair any better.
