Kent stretched as the boat landed, he was happy to be away from his Europe, it was boring there and only now did his last name really mean it He looked around, the people that took him here were strange, they all seemed on edge and carrying strange swords with them, when they saw ships they seemed like they wanted to kill everyone on it. He would have felt like a captive if there wasn't the few women one the boat, which also reassured him they weren't pirates, as most pirates would have raped any woman on there ship and killed them. He hated pirates, they ruined his days by making his old master angry. The old man would beat his wife and he would be used as a sex slave by more than one person, not to mention the abuse he got for refusing the wife or for adultery. The truth was he hated men in general. He sighed as he stopped stretching, now he was off the boat but this meant he needed to set up a place to sleep.

CHarlotte jumped off the ship with her rapier in her belt, a new land only god knew what would be waiting for them there, she looked around and spotted a guy, Kent, and walked to him "you dot have a sword?" she took one from a box a man was carrying and gave it to Knet "this could save your life so you better keep it with you at all times" she said knowing that a sword may not help him agaisnt beasts

Kent picked up the sword, it was heavy but he swung it with ease, his swings were slow and he clearly had know clue how to use it but he exepted anyway, wondering what she would ask for in return, she clearly didn't need a boy toy, any man would be at her foot if she even winked at them. Kent noticed she didn't treat him like a slave, but like the other's in the crew, perhaps she didn't know, or didn't understand the name 'freeman' but what ever it meant he was greatful.

"thank you ma'am, what would you like me to do" he said, looking up to her.

Kent was taken by surprise when she asked his name, he didn't know his true name so he kept his slave name which he wished he didn't have to, he knew he was from Greece so he wanted to have a Greek name, but that was never an option.

"my name is kent freeman, and thank you for taking me with you" he said after rushing to catch up to her.

James and his crew had finally made it to the new world. After what felt like ages battling the elements and keeping an eye outs for pirates they made it. James walked off his ship the Vires. James was dressed in a simple suit with some armor over his chest. He had a rapier in a holster at his side and a pistol in holster. He then walked down the gangplank with 2 soldiers at his back both with a rifle and swords. he looked around and saw open land and it was his. He turned and shouted "Unload the ship then chop some trees this will be as good as any place for settlement." He then walked around looking for anything they may be able to use.

Alvaro could feel the weight of the world come off his shoulders. Here he was, a land where he could be his own, and live his own life. All of the Moriscos could, free from the hand of Spain. Though only 15 of them, they were determined to stay true to their history and to god, never surrendering. Now, they just needed to make some shelters and get some food.

Kent looked at the girl before him, she clearly didn't want to know the vulgar and miserable life he had before he was here with her, but he felt guilty lying, but he knew it would be much worse telling her the truth, and the out come would either be becoming her pet and being hated by the other men, or being turned back into a slave so he knew he had to lie, well partially.

"I was an indentured servant, but not a very good one, I guess I still kinda am ma'am" He said nervously He carried the weapon she had given to him in his hands as close to his chest as possible, hugging it tight. The fact she gave this to him meant she wanted him alive so he was grateful she knew him as a human being, but it also made him realize that this meant there was danger..

Kent noticed her movement and fumbled the sword out of the sheath and let it drop to the ground. He was nervous be he didn't shake or quiver. He was prepared internally long ago, killing a man had dulled his sense of fear.

While his crew was unloading the ship and beginning the colonial life. James and his 2 guards walked around he then heard something from a nearby bush he took out his saber and the 2 guards aimed. "COME OUT NOW OR BE SHOT. THE IS THE KING'S LAND" He got ready to stab anything nearby.

Kent followed close behind she clearly knew what she was doing, he took much longer to put the sword down place his hands in front of his head to portect him incase they threw anything. He heard her call them europeans, that meant they weren't the only ones on the Island. To most people this would be great but he was ispleased. He left to get away from everyone and know they're coming after him.

"say are you sure we can trust these guys? I mean what if they're bad and all" whispered kent

James saw a women and a young kid come out of the bushes. He smiled and walked toward them. "Your weapons please. Can't be too careful." He took the weapons they had on and then he lead them to his camp. "What are you 2 people doing out here? A kid and women I mean."James had said wanting answers.

Kent was grinding his teeth, trying not to shout at the man, he made them seem so useless, but he didn't realize that kent had a back round in both boxing and wrestling, but was easily taken by his master. As for the girl occasioning him, she was clearly the leader of the people on there boat, and anyone who could tame that many men and have them at there disposal was strong enough to take care of themselves.

Kent took a deep breath, he wasn't a fan of all the guns hey carried it made him feel like a captive over anything.He was suprised how kind charlotte was to him, but it made him feel pitiful as if he was useless. Kent tried to stop his shaking but it was as if it was impossible, they wouldn't stop. He didn't want them to notice so he stood behind charlotte to make sure no one saw his legs.

James nodded as the girl talked then said "I'm Governor James Conrad of his Majesty's army. And you ma'ma are a french women. Please follow me I will take care of you for the night. I'll decide what happens tomorrow." They walked for a bit till they reach the camp. Great Britain's flag was laid down men had chopped wood and had some stakes put up. James then shout to the crew "Men today I found 2 people wandering around. You may take the girl do as you like. Guards watch the ends shoot anything that moves." He then took the boy onto the ship and sat down in the captains chair and said "So who might you be?"

Charlotte rised an eyebrow when James talked to the crew and the looked around, she knew what the men were thinking "not good.." she muttered "Ahem...Mr. Governor, i really apressiate you offer but i have bussines to take care of in my camp, so if you could let us go now,,." She didnt finish the sentence, what she was about to say was a threat to but it was not a good idea "We could talk tomorrow!"
