I'll get to judging everyone's CSs tomorrow. Here are my other two.
Independent Comics Universe RPG Character Sheet Player Name: HenryJonesJr Character: Cobra Commander Power and Abilities: Cobra Commander has no superhuman abilities, but is a criminal genius on the highest order. Trained in a Chechen Separatist Special Forces group, the Commander is a master marksman, skilled hand-to-hand combatant, espionage expert, and proficient in demolitions. On top of the skills that make the Commander physically imposing, he is also a master orator and has brought many people to his side through impassioned speeches. Alignment: Chaotic Evil Character Notes [Established Rogues, NPCs, etc]: Cobra Destro – Real name James McCullen XXIV. Destro is the Scottish CEO of Military Armament Research Systems, one of the world’s most advanced and prolific weapons dealers. He also moonlights as a high ranking member of Cobra. MARS is also how Cobra launders much of its dirty money. Firefly – Real name unknown. Firefly was trained by the Koga Ninja Clan before abandoning his vows to them. The dangerous man then went from ninja to soldier for hire, becoming an expert in demolitions. He gravitated towards Cobra Commander, becoming one of his most trusted soldiers. Scarlett Key Locations Springfield – A small, nondescript Midwestern American town on the surface, but in reality, Springfield is the false façade for Cobra’s base of operations. The suburban homes on the surface lead to the high-tech and massive Cobra base below. Background and Story So Far: Becoming the Cobra The Cobra Commander, true name unknown, was born in Chechnya sometimes in the 70s during the time of Soviet rule. He was born into a family deep in the Chechen Resistance Movement, and the boy was raised with hate and violence in his heart. He fired his first gun at the age of three, killed his first man at the age of six, and made his first bomb by the time he was seven. But his family and the members of the resistance saw more in him than a mere soldier. The boy was whip smart, many believing him to be a boy genius. He was enrolled in Oxford at the young age of fourteen and graduated with a doctorate in political science and economics a mere four years later before disappearing back to Chechnya at the outbreak of the first Chechen-Russian War. During the war he served on both the frontlines and as a military strategist. The cruelty that had been instilled in the man during his youth reared its ugly head here, though his terrorist-like strategies began the first effective push back against the Russian troops. But the Commander quickly realized the country he thought he was fighting for was just as corrupt and foolish as the one he was fighting. Cobra Commander decided that in this world, countries and flags didn’t matter. Only individuals and their goals. So the young Commander began manipulating the events of the war to serve his own goals. After the Budyonnovsk hospital hostage crisis, Cobra became a secret informant for Russia, leaking troop movements and important intel, while also gaining the Russians trust and leaking the same to the Chechens in order to destabilize the region even more. His treachery led to the death of the Chechen President, as well as many Russian soldiers. Eventually, the Chechen forces succeeded in forcing Russia to sign a cease-fire, but not before the man faked his death and disappeared. The man went into the shadows, taking his best men with him, giving himself a new name. He was now Cobra Commander, leader of the international terrorist group Cobra. Rise of Cobra Cobra began setting up shop in the old Russia occupied areas of several different countries, becoming ingrained into the criminal culture in Eastern Europe. The criminal organization enacted the kidnapping of hundreds of people, holding them for ransom and quickly building a fortune to fund their future goals. Cobra Commander then went secretly to MARS, a top flight weapons manufacturer looking for supplies. Unfortunately the CEO of the company, James McCullen XXIII, refused. His son, however, got in contact with Cobra offering to help if they killed his father, which would give him control of the company and its fortune. Cobra of course agreed, and both got what they wanted out of the equation. The younger McCullen, however, got more than he bargained for. He had now became shackled to the terrorist organization. After securing the weapons, Cobra announced themselves to the world by setting off bombs in several European nations. Afterwards, the Commander hacked into all communication servers telling the world who he was and what his goal was: World domination. The years following Cobra’s coming out party were filled with massive recruitment and growth. Cobra went from a small terrorist group to one of the most dominant forces on the planet. Using various shell corporations Cobra used to fund its projects, the group bought a massive amount of land in the American Midwest and built a vast underground base to strike at the world from right underneath the dominant super power’s nose. Cobra Commanded now has thousands at his beck and call, including superhuman operatives, all ready to strike at the innocents of humanity and bring them under his rule. Unfortunately, G.I. Joe, a military unit set up purposefully to stop Cobra often gets in his way, and Sample Post (At least 3 well thought out paragraphs as well as some dialogue): He scanned the screens around him, not paying attention to much that was being sent to him. Cobra Commander cared little for financial stats and figures. Tomax and Xamot had been bugging him about deciding what account to put the new landfall of money they had just…acquired. He of course told them to take care of it. That’s why they had brought them on. But everyone in the confounded organization walked on eggshells around him, except Destro and Firefly. Those two were never going to let him get by easily. That’s why he liked them so much. Of course, he had times where he wanted to murder them, but they were too valuable. But at least they told him like it was. “Enough of this banality,” he barked gruffly at the two financial heads of Cobra. They were accomplished fighters thanks to him as well, but they preferred the action of the boardroom to the battlefield. “Decide what to do on your own. In the meantime, I have more important matters to attend to.” The Commander switch channels to his Crimson Guard channel, “Firefly. Report.” “Commander,” the grizzled voice responded. “Had enough of the twins, eh?” “I’ve had enough of them for quite some time,” the Commander laughed. “Have you located what I seek?” “I have. We’re waiting on your go ahead.” “And you will continue to wait,” he smiled under his mask. “I will join you in the field and take it for myself.”

Independent Comics Universe RPG Character Sheet Player Name: HenryJonesJr Character: Buffy Summers/The Slayer Power and Abilities: As the Slayer, Buffy has incredible powers. She is superhumanly strong, has increased agility, speed, reflexes, senses, and accelerated healing. She has a natural proficiency with weapons which has been honed into mastery after years of training. Her Slayer abilities also make her a natural leader and extremely brave. She also has cryptic but prophetic dreams and can sense when non-human creatures are in the area. Alignment: Lawful Good Character Notes [Established Rogues, NPCs, etc]: Scoobies Willow Rosenberg – Willow is Buffy’s best friend and an exceptionally powerful witch. Xander Harris – Xander was Willow’s best friend and soon became a good friend of Buffy’s after she moved to Sunnydale. Though he has no special abilities, Xander’s loyalty and bravery have shown him to be a valuable friend and ally, even losing an eye in the fight against evil. After the destruction of Sunnydale, Xander signed up with the BPRD as an agent. Rupert Giles – Giles is Buffy’s former Watcher. He left the organization due to what he saw as incompetence, though he continued to help Buffy and her friends. Giles now helps Buffy when she needs him as he travels the world investigating the supernatural. Dawn Summers – Buffy’s sister who is, in reality, a key between dimensions. Biologically she is Buffy’s sister, but was made by magic, not born. After Sunnydale, Dawn now attends Stanford. Spike now fights with Angel, though not always by choice. Mina Harker – The immortal ex-lover of Dracula. Mina has served in several incarnations of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Another one coming soon… Key Locations BPRD – Located in a secret research facility in Colorado, the BPRD is the world’s primary defense against supernatural threats. Led by Director Tom Manning and employing various different supernatural and superpowered creatures, the BPRD has stood against the things that go bump in the night for decades. The Watcher’s Council – The rebuilt Watcher’s Council sits in London England, and the Watchers have begun training the various Slayers that were activated by Buffy and Willow. Sunnydale – Buffy’s former home and the former location of the Hellmouth. Sunnydale was destroyed when the Slayers defeated the First. The event was covered up by the government as a massive earthquake/sinkhole phenomenon. Background and Story So Far: Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV Series So not to be overly lazy, but I really don’t want to type out everything that’s happened to Buffy so far. Needless to say, everything that happened in the TV series is canonical for the game. If you don’t know what happened in the series A) Watch it. Seriously. Or if you’re lazy B) Read this and stop when you get to the “After Sunnydale” section: http://www.comicvine.com/buffy/4005-20096/ After Sunnydale After Sunnydale, and with an army of Slayers now patrolling the world, Buffy went into hiding. She no longer wanted to be the face of this fight, and desired time alone. She traveled the world with Giles and tried to enjoy herself, but at every turn she found more evil ready to fight her. Realizing a life of anonymity was never going to happen, she returned to California and lived with her sister as Dawn attended Stanford while Buffy trained Slayers that approached her and helped organize the new Slayer movement. Willow and Xander, meanwhile, joined the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense in hopes to further their own understanding of the supernatural world. These two worlds came together when Hellboy, the BPRD’s main weapon in this fight, came to Buffy along with Xander and Willow asking for help. Rasputin, the mystic that had brought Hellboy into this world, had returned and was attempting to unleash the seven dragons of the apocalypse the Ogdru Jahad. Hellboy asked Buffy and her Slayers to take care of monsters Rasputin had dispatched over the world to distract him while he tracked down the dark magician. Buffy agreed and began coordinating the counter attacks, killing many of the monsters herself. Hellboy, unfortunately, had more trouble, and Rasputin nearly used the demon’s Right Hand of Doom to release the Ogdru Jahad. Hellboy, thanks to his friends, came to his senses and closed the dimensional portal before the dragons could arrive, and ended up killing Rasputin. The process of opening the portal, however, has created dangerous circumstances our heroes just began to understand. The supernatural world has become even more dangerous than before, and drastic measures will be taken to save the human race. Sample Post (At least 3 well thought out paragraphs as well as some dialogue): The cold, damp air hung around her like a cloak. Why couldn’t the evil undead hang out during the day and above ground like normal people? Of course, they’d probably not be the evil undead at that point, but the sentiment still stood. Buffy had always hated crawling around sewers and tunnels. The smell took four or five showers to get off, and that just led to ridiculous water bills. The Slayer laughed to herself then. Thinking about bills had almost come neck and neck with worrying about what the next thing that would try and kill her. She was so mature. Well, as mature as someone can be who hunts monsters for a living. Well, it wasn’t so much of a living as it was a call to destiny. But you get the point. She could feel them now. The pack of vampires was close. They had been feeding on the local homeless for weeks but she only now figured out where their lair was. A cave off the coast tucked up underneath the Golden Gate Bridge was where they had decided to nest, and it was a pain and a half scaling the wall down to its entrance. There was probably a back way in, but she hadn’t been able to find it. So rock climbing she went. Suddenly, gunshots rang out farther down the tunnel, sending Buffy into a sprint towards them. If there was someone trapped down here, they’d be dead soon enough. Bullets didn’t work on vamps, at least not the ones normal people would be carrying. But when she got to the antechamber, all she found was ash and a big, red demon standing with an oversized gun smoking in his hand, “Hellboy.” “Slayer,” the BPRD agent nodded to her while he lit a cigar. “You sis said you came to San Fran. Figured this is where I’d find you.” “What’s up?” Buffy asked as she sheathed her weapon, an ancient vampire killing weapon known as the Scythe. “Oh, you know. End of the world stuff. Same shit, different day, Blondie.”
