Daxius' concentration was broken when the door to the tavern was thrown open by a small 'person' holding a dead animal in his hands, with his thought broken he noticed how thirsty he felt, he looked around the tavern for the barmaid when he spotted her. She was sat on the floor beneath the stairs, her arms wrapped around her in almost a self hug. Daxius waved to her, trying to get her attention. She looked up from her feet and skimmed the room with her eyes until they landed on Daxius waving his hand at her. Daxius watched her get up and proceed to walk to him, deftly slipping her way between narrow gaps between tables. -Daxius uses his 5 perception skills to notice more details about her- He stood up from his chair as she approached And watched her slip between the last two tables before she was in the secluded corner. She stood short compared to Dax, the too of her head reaching the base of his chin, with a rasp he proceeded to make his request:" excuse me miss, but I'd like a glass of clean water," his voice was abrasive to his ears after long weeks of disuse "none of that brown stuff the elf was supplied with."
He waited for her to reply buy she just nodded and started to turn around when he tasked something else:" would you happen to have an apple?"
ps. What does the barmaid look like?

Hi as per the normal table top type thing I control all NPC's.
Don't worry about it right now but what this means is that the barmaid may not do exactly as you have said ( I plan on her talking a little , mostly about that that's the best water you will get in this town and that its a lot cleaner to buy some alcohol)
Everything else was fine and there is no need to edit I just thought I should mention it, if I don't control the NPC's all im doing is dice rolls and that's pretty boring ;P

Despite the bartender's firm position on the cost, Shaleer mainted his cheerful yet perplexing cheerfulness; that is, until a disrupting figure came through the door with a rabbit and placed it on the counter before him and the bartender. Shaleer almost raised a hand in protest beforing shaking his head, believing it to just be a strange custom he'd yet to understand.
Shaleer stole a a quick glance at the elf, still fascinated ever since the boat ride as elves were a rare sight in his home city.
Returning his eyes to the bartender, Shaleer forced a laugh and said, "Whatever you need for the night, I'm at your service." His eyes faltered as he looked at the dead creature on the counter again, hoping everyone here wasn't as straightforward as the gnome was.

I will be away this weekend for Easter at my mums where she doesn't have internet.I will try and get on via the slow wired internet but I will be back on Sunday afternoon UK (So like Sunday lunch time US ).
I will post turn 3 (Callalily is outside and away from the group at the moment so it should be ok)
and hope you guys can have the next turn ready when I get back

Eryel raised his eyebrow at the quest granted. Well, at least this would pay him, not that it followed his usual work schedule but it would have to do until dangerous ruins come along. “Remove that meal.” The elf stated, finishing his pie. “And throw in five gold pieces instead.” He did like coins. You could never have enough of those, and hopefully the bartender would comply. “How exactly do you want this guy thrown out?” Eryel rubbed his chin. “If he hasn’t paid for his room, I reckon you own this establishment and the rules of your society would allow you to remove him from the premises, correct?” But then, humanity never truly impressed. “Then again, I won’t question your customs. I'll accept this assignment.” Eryel finished. One could never expect too much from these short lived hunks of meat. Their shortcomings would in this case benefit the elf, so by all means. The gnome who had made an entrance would easily steal everyone's attention, but after shedding him a glare, Eryel went back to the conversation. Gnomes, they were always so loud. Well, at least they were better than humans.

Daxius flipped two coins at the attractive barmaid, "two apples please" his voice grated in his throat. He sat back down in the armchair and watched the rest of the inn carry on with itself, however he was perplexed and cheerfully bemused at the rabbit wielding gnome. But at the same time a bit pitiful, barging into the inn, proudly clutching a dead hare and only getting looks of malicious amusement. Daxius forgot about his apples for a few minutes and stepped off the chair and started towards the proud looking gnome.
Dax stood behind him and noticed how much shorter someone could be, he poked the gnomes shoulder and rasped "quite a prize ya have, I'll offer ya 3 golds, sound good?"
