Artemis smiled as they continued to walk down the hallway together, the two ponies walking side by side as she grinned at Bri’s near miss of the word boring. Flicking her tail she considered for a moment. “I want to see the big stuff, explosions and magic, thunder and lightning and all that…” She grinned lifting her hooves high as they trotted. And Bri smiled in response, his grin was full of promise and he did not disappoint. They spent the next hour going from room to room, places filled with amazing things. There was the room full of different snowflakes that never melted; they hung from the ceiling like delicate decorations, in another room were lit by twinkling stars and in another it was constantly raining, from large fat drops to a light mist. In all these rooms ponies stood either helping with the items in the rooms or observing their findings of the room’s contents. Artemis felt completely overwhelmed by the amazing things she had seen in this building in which she had just ignored every time she had walked passed. They had finally come to a halt behind a glass panel which looked into the strangest of rooms. There was a patch of grass and a tree but the amazing thing was that the seasons in the room where in constant change. It would start in lush spring blooms, melting into rich greens of summer, then to the burning ambers of autumn and lastly the bare branches of winter. All this passed by in a matter of minutes and it was hypnotising to watch the majesty of the seasons pass by in a matter of moments. “This is the most brilliant thing I have ever seen! I never knew such wonders could exist in a weather station nor how much was controlled by the weather.” They were silent for a moment as they continued to gaze in wonder at the spectacle before them. “Thank you for bringing me here Bri. Now it seems I am in you debt twice.” Turning back to face him she offered a smile. “Let me make it up to you. Join me tomorrow night for the Midsummer Moon Masque at the palace. It would be so nice to have a friend there. Please say you will come.”
