Since the dawn of time the denizens of this land have strived to understand the world that they live in. In the beginning they lived peacefully, they lived loved and learned together all nations. But slowly a few of the races developed... Abilities that caused them to look down on their brethren. And soon strife began. In the early days it was never fair the magic users burnt away their rivals, who were not blessed with such a gift then turned to science. 

Forward several thousand years now empires have risen and fallen and the two cultures are getting ready to clash again..
