Cynn Ellime Cynn knew that starting down the path of her gadgets was something that would probably chase off Annabeth. She could ramble on and on for hours, and got very, very technical.at times. Still, the girl seemed interested, so she tried to keep her digressions to a minimum. "Most of that stuff you've seen..." the wood elf had to figure out how to phrase it. "Most of it is scrap parts, to be honest. Some of it is a collection of random gadgets that don't do much at all...but the rest are long term projects that...probably...won't be finished...any time soon. Of course, you've already seen some finished projects..." The girl looked intrigued. "The tubing in the restroom that leads up to a disk with holes punched? You use it to wash your hair more efficiently. I call it a shower...you know...because it's like rain..." Her voice trailed off. It was hard to believe that Annabeth had never turned on the shower out of curiosity before, much less seen it. It was also hard to believe that she'd never looked hard enough at the window to notice that you could now open and close it. Of course, both of those had been relatively simple projects, and Cynn had finished them in a day each. Still, she thought they'd been complicated enough, given the rest of the College's technology. Not that the rest of the College's technology didn't work; it did, certainly. In fact, it was quite ingenious, using magic to power basic machinery. But the machinery was just that; basic. Every time Cynn walked past a furnace or the gardens, she saw things that could be improved upon, especially given the largely untapped potential of the golems. Cynn, you're letting your mind wander again, she thought, looking over Annabeth. Address her! Ask her something about herself! "S-So," she started, seemingly causing the human's interest to rise again. "Um...what.... What do you do...you know...when you aren't at the tavern? I've noticed that your schedule...it's very...different from mine. When do you have...free time?" You know...in case I wanted to surprise you one day, she thought to herself.
