Name: Aeron Deepstead Gender: Female Age: Stopped counting after 100, but estimates somewhere around 350 Race: Vampire Rank: Teacher (class taught: literature) Personality: A vampire with a wide scope of opinions, Aeron has beliefs of her own, and is strongly rooted in them. Not religious beliefs, that is; she's had unfortunate happenings whenever religion gets involved, and thusly hates all of them. Sacriligious intent aside, Aeron is the kind of person who will try to figure out the deepest questions of life simply through observation and experience. Even a simple question may take a moment to be answered with this deep thinker. In key with her time period of origin, Aeron is also very well-mannered, and expects the same of others. As a teacher, she does her best to keep things interesting. Making class unpredictable is one technique she employs for this, often changing up her methods of teaching to keep students on their toes. She also respects her students, so long as they respect her in return. This also assumes the student in question doesn't sleep in class. Definitely don't let Aeron catch you sleeping in her class, lest you wish for an unpleasant awakening. BRIEF History: Initially human, Aeron fills in the typical tale of girl-gone-vampire oddly well. Born in olden times to a moderately wealthy family - a very religious one at that - Aeron followed in their faith for a time. She went to church whenever she had to, and was a very faithful little Christian. Or as she'd put it today, "a blind, flailing lamb with no personal sense of direction." Becoming a vampire had quite a few changes on Aeron's part. First and foremost, a complete inability to trust preachers of any religion, as it was in fact a Christian priest who turned her. The clearer changes came from personal experience. The people who followed a God that valued forgiveness and love shunned Aeron once she became a vampire. They even tried to kill her. Obviously, she escaped. Immediately following this was a time Aeron's not quite proud of, in which she spent a good 200 years simply slaying Christians, "just as they slaughter all those not of their kind." After her 200-year [s]tantrum[/s] vengeance had subsided, she became mostly a drifter. Until she had the opportunity to become a teacher. She now teaches literature; a topic she's loved since birth. Nothing more or less. These mean she does not age, boasts superior speed and strength, and can turn into a bat. However, it also means she requires the blood of others to sustain herself, boasts a weakness to silver, and [s]sparkles[/s] burns in sunlight. Other:

Name: Cary O'Connor Gender: Female Age: 16 Race: Dullahan Rank: 1st year Personality: The first thing about Cary to know is her dullahan pride. They're a very powerful form of monster, after all, so naturally they're going to be quite proud to be what they are. Cary's dullahan pride is not to be taken lightly; she can and will start fights over this. That said, she's got a harsh attitude, a knack for causing trouble and getting out of it, and a need to prove herself better than everybody else, which only serves to fuel her hot-headed attitude. Cary also has a bit of an inferiority complex, rooting in that other dullahans are out on horseback, riding through all obstacles to deliver death at the appointed time. Meanwhile, she's on a bicycle with freaking training wheels. This is a very sour personal spot, so unless you're looking for a fight, it's best to not mock the wheels. It's also estimated that she may be the first dullahan to exist on a purely-meat diet. If it's not meat, Cary outright refuses to eat it, and she always keeps a few pieces of beef jerky handy for quick snacks. Seriously though, don't mention the training wheels. BRIEF History: Born an ambitious dullahan, Cary had the same dream of any regular dullahan. Earn the revered title of Headless Horseman; a name reserved for only the single-most fearsome dullahan of all. An eternal stalker leaving a trail of death in their wake, whose deadly exploits go down in legends. That was what Cary dreamed of becoming. Of course, Cary's violent attitude has not only made that a challenge, but driven the dullahan community to send her to an academy with plenty of other races, in the hopes that she'll simmer down during her time there. However, since she has yet to come of age, Cary remains unarmed. Abilities/Powers: Dullahan powers are obtained with age. However, at her current age, Cary's only power is that her head and body can function without each other. Other:
