Clayton Clay gave a mental sigh of relief when Ana said that she wanted to be his partner, he was worried that she'd say no like everybody else he'd asked. Sure she seemed like a bit of an exhibitionist, she certainly seemed nice enough to get along with. Seeing her smile, he returned it in kind, though his face was still a bit red, as well as the handshake, and simply said: "Alrighty then Ana, it's official then!" He rose from his seat on the bench and began jogging in place, honestly the thought of finally having someone to resonate with besides Alice was getting him excited, and he couldn't contain it. That and his legs had gotten a bit stiff from sitting there. When she asked if he wanted to see her in weapon form, he couldn't help but nod twice and give an even wider smile as he said: "I might not be very good with whatever weapon you can turn into, but hey, I'm a quick learner. Go ahead whenever you're ready." He might have sounded patient, but he was excited to see his partner-to-be's weapon form, whatever it was. Lumeria Lumeria's mental high five turned into a mental self-suplex as Mary vomited uncontrollably for a bit and only grew more exasperated with her claims. How the hell do you brainwash someone with a hat? Especially one that looked that good. Putting her hand to her chin and turning away from the two, she thought for a moment just how to get Mary to CALM THE HELL DOWN. With a snap and a smile, she finally thought of something. Turning to Mary once more, she decided that her extensive knowledge of marine howsiwhatsits could come in handy here. "Hey Mary. Did you know that the mating process between angler fishes slowly devolves into asexual reproduction? The-" Slowly realizing that this was incredibly stupid, she returned to her thinking position and thought of another possibility not relating to marine biology. "Mary, men literally CAN'T all be bad. I've seen more work long hours selflessly for their family doing dangerous work, and the man who gave me this hat is one of them. If it weren't for men like that, then I'd probably be wearing a blindfold instead of just an eye-patch..." To make a point of this, she ran her right hand through her hair to find the string holding her eye-patch against her head and eye, and stopped as she took hold of it. "You wanna see?"
