Don't be silly. A character is only as boring as the events you put them through. Of course, you make your life easier if you can tailor those events to internal conflicts your character has. Example: it was interesting for me to write the scene with Leck, Michael, and her father, because her father, she suspects, was on the death eaters' side in the wizarding war and Michael is a muggle-born. I didn't want to give it away in the IC because I want that little plotlet to develop, but it was interesting to write. I won't assume it's interesting to read because that's not my call to make. If Janine doesn't have any personal demons to battle with (or at least to expose over the course of the RP), that's the single easiest thing you can do to find her more fascinating to write.
