Sorry for how long this took, I got a tad lazy. Name: Nozomi Kuriko Nick Name: Cursed Child Age: 10 Occupation: Initiator Model: Turtle Partner: To be decided I guess. Personality: Nozomi views herself as elegant, and dislikes things she deems "vulgar". She doesn't particularly crave combat or arguments, but isn't afraid of confrontation either, even calling people out on whatever she doesn't approve of. She tends to come off as blunt, but truly does not realize that she is being rude most of the time (after all, who could blame a young child for not fully understanding social interaction at this age.) On the other hand, she is quite sensitive and insecure, particularly about her injured leg and how others view her, and is quick to tears (a quality she despises in herself, only leading to even more insecurity), and may not understand when someone is joking around with her. She views other cursed children as regular individuals, and tries to encourage them to improve their lives, but has a soft spot for younger or injured ones, often coming to their protection. Her opinions on humans is case to case, treating them as they treat her (and others she feels she needs to protect.)
Minus the bat hair pin, this is generally how she dresses. Her cane is completely white and smooth, with an obvious crease were the blade begins, and her eyes (obviously) red. The blade itself is made of steel.
History: Nozomi was born in the outer district of Tokyo, and lived within a group of other cursed children, who worked together in order to survive the harsh environment. Despite the difficulty of their situation, Nozomi was relatively cheerful, and enjoyed whatever free time she had when they were not scavenging or fighting off anything that tried to harm them, whether it be Gaestra, humans, or even other cursed children. When she was around five years old, Nozomi had injured her leg when a chunk of debris fell on it, breaking her bones. She was never able to get proper medical care, and so the bone never healed completely, forcing her to use a walking stick she made out of wood. She did her best to learn how to move normally with it, and thanks to her abilities as a cursed child she was dexterous enough to have her movement be relatively normal (though in stressful situations, such as combat, this is less apparent.) After that, pessimism and hate for both humans and their living situation began to set in. When she was seven, her group decided it would be best to try and live in the city in an attempt to better their lives. To Nozomi's horror, she discovered that her friends had planned to sell her into slavery, singling her out based on her leg injury. They lead her to the dealers in a warehouse, but once she realized what they were planning, Nozomi ran. She was pursued, but the dealers had simultaneously sedated and captured the girls she was with, not bothering to chase her down. Up until that point, Nozomi had hated humans exclusively, but now she realized that it was not just humans that are hateful and desperate, but everyone. She decided that she would not accept such a cruel world, and set off to join a Civil Security organization in an attempt to find exceptions to this apparent "fact of life", re-imagining herself and setting a certain standard for living. Weapons: Cane Sword. Since Nozomi's leg is injured, she uses it to walk primarily, and she is incapable of running when her sword is drawn. With the blade sheathed, she is able to run, but obviously her speed is a bit stinted compared to that of other Cursed Children. She relies on quick-drawing her blade to make fast strikes, or countering her opponents moves, but she almost never moves once it's drawn, and priorities defending herself above striking at her opponent. I would have gone with a spiked shield, but I thought that would be boring. I felt creepy the entire time looking for an appropriate image.
