Kimiko nodded. "That's a good reason. But flying? You have ears and a tail, do you have wings too that I can't see?" She joked, but then looked out at the window onto the courtyard somewhat wistfully. "Sometimes I want to go on an adventure and get swept away somewhere interesting. Maybe that's why transfer students are so interesting. School is pretty boring." She looked back and smiled, "but life isn't an anime, I guess."

Despite the sad note, she was happy to change the topic back to the homeroom teacher. "Don't even sneeze in his class or you'll regret it! I once yawned and he made me do fifty push-ups! It was awful." She laughed. 

"'Scuze me ladies.." Kimiko glanced to the newcomer and grinned. "You must be another transfer student! Yes, there's lots! No one but me really sits here. She pointed towards the seat in front of her, This one is free. My name is Kimiko- oh, and this is Aya, she is Canadian!"
