The newly arrived fairy, Deeta flitted through the sky on wings that looked far too large for someone so small and delicate, zooming along just ahead of her pair of purple clad guides with unbridled exuberance, fascinated with all around her. Born literally minutes ago, everything was brand new to the fairy and her eyes sparkled with wonder and delight as she fluttered through Pixie Hollow, darting among the fairies flooding back from the mainland. She was in awe as she watched light fairies streak rainbows across the sky, tinkers whacking their hammers against their wild contraptions and animal fairies herding bunny rabbits into a corral for a nice hair brushing. "What's that?" she questioned, eyeing a newly painted ladybug "What's that?" she asked barely a second later, having flittered over to a flowing stream "Oh my gosh, what's that? What's that!? What's THAT!?" ... ...her eyes drawn to the sight of a beautiful water-made tunnel, being held up by the palms of a dark headed fairy. The water followed the fairy's hands as she twisted it, rolled it and made it into something completely new. Now it was a bridge over a small stream. It changed shape again becoming a rabbit, hopping along the ground. Deeta looked at the fairy, seeing intense concentration upon her delicate features as she brought the water up and over her, holding it still. Very slowly, the water began to thin, stretching around the fairy controlling it. Her dark clothing, made of some kind of deep blue petal, was barely visible behind the water, but her almost black hair was clearly visible. Deeta held her breath in anticipation as the water moved. "It seems like Ingrid has gotten a lot better," One guide said to the other. "You'd think after a couple of years she'd have a better handle on her talent," The other said. Deeta glanced between their faces as they shared a look before turning her attention to the water fairy once more. Suddenly, there was a loud crash. Deeta turned, seeing some kind of contraption had fallen over. She moved to help, but was caught up by the sound of splashing and the anguished cries of frustration. She looked back at the water fairy; Ingrid, they had called her and found that her bubble had popped, leaving her soaking wet and in a puddle. Deeta flitted over to her quickly, landing on shaking legs. She'd only just been born, she was still getting used to using her wings. "Are you alright?" Deeta asked, reaching out for the fairy. Ingrid looked up at her, a scowl upon her face until she saw the young fairy was just trying to help. "Yes, I'm alright," Ingrid said, pulling herself up. Her wings sagged under the weight of the water and she frowned at them before shaking herself to rid them of some of the water. She grabbed her thick, dark braid in both of her hands and squeezed it, losing a small torrent of water onto the already muddied ground. "I'm Ingrid," She said brightly, trying to right her soaking clothes. She looked past Deeta to see the two fast-flyers, chuckling at her. She smiled at them, able to poke fun at herself as well. "That was so amazing!" Deeta exclaimed, her wings fluttering in excitement, "I'm Deeta," She added as an afterthought. "Oh that?" Ingrid made a disapproving face and waved her hand in the air, "Watch this Deeta," She said with a wink. She threw her hands out at the water in a huge flourish and it sprang to life, coming up in a huge wave. It became one thick being, like a rope and snaked it's way toward them. Ingrid threw out her hands again, fingers wide apart and the stream exploded into a million tiny droplets. She pulled her hands together wiggling her fingers comically and the droplets formed together, making figures in the air. Deeta laughed, and Ingrid did too, losing her concentration and the figures fell to the ground. "Oh don't worry about it," Ingrid said, seeing the apologetic glance the girl had given her, "That happens to me all the time," She said, her deep blue eyes twinkling with laughter. "Come on Deeta, there is a lot more to see," One of her guides called to her. "Bye!" Deeta waved, jumping into the air. "Bye!" Ingrid called, watching the young fairy disappear before she turned to her puddle again, determination written on her face.
That was probably the funnest CS I've ever done....but I've never done anything like it sooooo...it's probably pretty bad..lol
