Name: Laho Rafflesia Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: Laho stands at about 5'2", and doesn't appear to weigh much. She always wears a pair of white gloves, even while sleeping. She rarely takes them off. She also brings a large staff-type object with her to help walk, because she has bad legs. Element: Earth > Plants Powers: Laho can increase the growth of plants nearby passively, and also control how plants grow (for example, she can "instruct" a tree to grow out sideways instead of up), and she can increase the growth of plants exponentially, but at the cost of a large amount of her own energy. Her most notable power is a double edged sword, dipped in poison and stuck to both arms (if you want to be exact about it). Everything she touches rots. If an animal is also poisonous, they will be unaffected by this, but plants (even if poisonous) succumb to the decay. Personality: Laho rarely speaks to people. She doesn't want to make friends in case she accidentally hurts them and they want to leave her. She cares deeply for plants, and nurtures them from a distance. She apologizes a lot. She also smiles a lot, even while crying. History: Laho was born ordinarily. Her parents were both sickly, and weak. When she turned 5, both of her parents died within 2 days of each other. Laho was sad when this happened. She would cry for days in a row, alone in a dark room, starving to death. When Laho was crying, that was the time most likely for her dormant powers to awaken. Her uncle and aunt came over at the 5th day when she was alone. They saw her alone, crying in the middle of the room, the smell of dead flesh emanating from two different rooms. She was put in her aunt and uncle's custody after they found her, and dealt with what was happening. Laho never left her room since she started to live with them. They were extremely caring, but she just kept to her room. All she did was read books, and tend to her plants. The plants that she had in her room were the only things cared for. She would just stay alone, crying. Some men knocked on the new home's door, and asked for Laho to come to their school, made especially for people like her. She initially refused to go, but her uncle and aunt forced her to go with them, so she would finally meet friends. She had received a "familiar" as they called it, and named it Carrion, a name that she thought fit perfectly with the name of this animal.. After Laho accidentally touched it, she panicked, thinking it would not like her. It didn't run. It loved its new master's embrace. Laho cried out of joy, seeing that there was something that, at the least, wouldn't leave her like her parents. It's said to kill hundreds of people just by breathing on them. Fortunately, as a baby, it's poison is weak enough so that you just might feel a bit sick if you do something such as, say, lick it. Any other familiar info: Hydras are dragons, but are also more related to snakes. The master is immune to the Hydra's poison. Hydras take some of the longest times to grow, most people with Hydras will never see their familiar fully grown. Hydras can be killed, even with their impressive regeneration. Their wounds could be cauterized, preventing any regeneration, they can be burnt to death (almost impossible when they are fully grown, as they can stamp out the fire), all of their heads could be cut off at the same time, or their body can just be destroyed instead of the heads and necks.
