Just as Chloe had glanced down at the ground to determine whether she should pick it up or not something hit her, causing her to tumble over. The first thing that went through her mind was panic and a voice yelling at herself for taking her eyes off of the area. Quickly she stood up, axe swung back and ready to swing but upon closer inspection she quickly stopped herself, though still held her axe at the ready. The girl was young, not old enough to be a threat though she kept that thought to herself and instead spoke of something else, though she did so softly. “Well you haven’t bit me yet and you don’t look like military so I think it would be best for both of us if you kept quiet.” It wasn’t a threat more of a suggestion. “Unless….you want to kill me, but I’m not sure that you do.” With that she put her axe down, though still gripped it tightly. Chloe looked down at the bag of Snowballs in the girl’s hand and her stomach growled once again, causing her to flinch. “All I want is some food.” She said finally and went back to grabbing what she could and stuffing it into her pockets, though she still kept an eye on the girl. She was lucky that she had been able to calm herself down or she wasn’t sure what would have happened to her. Social protocol told her to introduce herself, but now that was probably a bad idea. It seemed, from what she had heard, that humans were no longer much of a social animal. She went down the aisle before groaning softly in annoyance. There wasn’t much left and what had been left wasn’t enough to keep her energy up. She turned her body back towards the girl, and walked towards her, though still kept a safe distance as something had just dawned on her. “You wouldn’t happen to be alone, would you?”
