He noted that wearing a lorica segmentata didn't slow him down too much - though his foe would probably be much quicker on his feet. Cato changed his stance slightly, lowering the shield ever so slightly and turning the trident around. When he was less than 20 paces away from his foe he threw the trident towards the younger man and readied one of his swords.
