Sloan glanced towards the wardens monitoring the place, also known as the guards, as she pushed her empty can of tuna off to the side. She didn't really have any bad experiences with them to speak of, but that obviously wasn't the case for Aelotte. The little harpy spent some weeks in Solitary and had only gotten out a few days ago; it must have scarred her pretty badly. Sloan sympathized with Aelotte a bit. If the stories she had heard about solitary were true, she would be paranoid about getting into trouble too. But the little kitty always had a way out of more serious matters, so she rarely worried about her visits to Ashe's office. The only thing Sloan needed to worry about was people like Selwyn and Ericka. Both used different tactics to get the things they wanted, but were equally annoying if one chose to get involved...Not that Sloan was particularly scared of them. A lot seemed to have happen at once. Aelotte crushed her glass in her hand and an overwhelming barn smell hit Sloan's sensitive nose out of nowhere, causing her tail and ears to stiffen. There was a shadow looming over the table now, and had it not been for the distinct smell, Sloan would have assumed Ericka had come to play again. The slamming on the table and standing creepily had Ericka written all over it, but it was just a centaur. Happily surprised to see this strange breed of horse standing before them, Sloan looked the woman up and down as she introduced herself as their new room mate. "Sloan. Though I have to admit-"Her ears twitched several times as she began, looking to Aelotte suspiciously and then back to the centaur. "I heard no such thing. One does have to wonder where you will be sleeping though? A stack of hay, or does your kind sleep on the bed? Or do you generally do half and half?" Sloan smirked at Ell, revealing one of her sharp fangs. They were quite similar to vampire fangs in appearance, except they weren't as long and did not retract.
