It looks like Pat's hot outburst wasn't enough to break this guys cool. Pat didn't know weather that spoke more or less for his sanity. He obviously had no fear of the police, though his reasoning was very different from what Pat was expecting. Having your captor be some kind of high ranking government official was a worrying thought. Pat was no stranger in dealing with the government and knew that if someone high up didn't want something known, it wouldn't be known. Still, this knowledge gave more questions than answers. Pat assumed before that they were kidnapped so they could be held for ransom (ironic considering Pat had no family or friends left that would pay it) but anyone with such a high "pay grade", as this man put it, would need to stoop so low for money. Things just weren't adding up. Add this to the man suddenly start talking about some other government organization made up of "people like me and you" (whatever that meant) as if they were their mutual enemy and you end up with a very confusing reply. Somehow, the more this kid talks, the less sense he makes. A sudden turn caused Pat to momentarily lose his balance. When he looked back up, the man suddenly had arms that long enough to reach from one side of the van to the other. They then returned to normal before his very eyes as the man turned around to chastise the driver. Pat began to wonder if he could do that with the rest of his body before he mentaly caught himself. Pat knew he should be surprised by this development. He should be scared, confused, disgusted... but he wasn't. Life stopped making sense the moment I got kidnapped, I guess by now I've stopped expecting it to start. I guess this guy isn't the only one going crazy "Well Stretch? No comment on your arms suddenly gaining a few feet in length? I feel like that may be a bigger issue than your friends driving."
