Which is why you run adblock and noscript when you visit shady sites, check the user reviews to make sure nobody is getting cpu-melting virii, and never run anything you download from torrents with admin priviledges. 

It's the computer equivalent of wearing a condom and going to decent brothels instead of backalley 2-dollar hookers.

FYI, the terms of agreement for Origin let them go through every file you have on your computer, so installing it is kinda like putting a camera in your shower and streaming it onto the internet. You probably don't want that.
