As the two entered the water cleaning their clothes, and the tiger his fur, Amber couldn't help but feel antsy. Without at least her hands aflame she almost felt naked. She lit the tip of her index finger on fire just to calm her nerves. The flame danced in the wind like a candle. Not enough to attract more fiends but enough to ease her mind. She pulled a loaf of bread from the bottom reaches of her pant pockets and broke a piece off for herself. It filled her for the moment, but the bread alone was not enough. Amber moved closer to the water now, and cupped her hands together taking a sip from the river. "I was supposed to clear the area near my home of monsters that raided the streets at night. It appears we've driven them off for now. I'll send a crow back to inform them to stop with the bonfires at night, that should stop the midnight raiding." She splashed the water into her face and continued, "My job here is done, but I find myself at a loss. It appears to me the world outside my city could use my skills more. I insist I join your efforts and help the weaker ones we cross."
