Voldemort long dead these past 20 odd years the Wizarding world is at peace. Harry an Ron work for the Ministry of Magic, Ginny and Hermione are moms. But you knew all that didn't you? I am Margaret Gladtree Hierophant of Avalon and observer of the Magical world, I'm also told that I'm not a bad storyteller. Well if you've come to me then it is due to one of three things, to seek my help interpreting a sacred mystery, seeking arcane principles that will aid you in some task or would like to hear a story. . The Wizarding world is a large place, larger than many imagine, how few even think of what lies beyond the shores of the old world to the west. The New world lands though not as covered in tradition are vast and the mysteries there without number or knowing. You've heard of Hogwarts that foundation of Arcane practice an tradition but have you heard of Salem's Academy, Savanna's Kilcoyen school of magical arts. Both of these schools are over 400 years old and their practices sound. Salem Academy is a school very much like Hogwarts many of it's lesson plans mirroring those of the latter because it's founder clung tightly to the traditions of the old world. That is till the establishment of the Ring Mechanics proposed by the Wizard Icabod Crane. This is by no means a new art form but merely a new approach to the use of magic. Ring Mechanics practice the production of Artifact creation which is more common in use among them. Kilcoyen's school was established by a clan of Wizards an Witches who left the old world rejecting those traditions that they saw as to confining. It was there that was discovered the art of Sineaux or Sine auxilio which in latin translates to mean "Without support" in their case it means to cast magic without a wand using only Word an Will alone I could continue on by telling you about Michigan Magic Arts Academy, New Orleans School and the San Francisco Institute but I don't want to bore those that don't wish to listen. _________________________________
I know everyone always wants to attend Hogwarts or Magic School when they think Harry Potter but as for myself I've always wanted to explore the wider world. Children are restrained by parental permission and adults by their professions but those in between, young adults are not as bound by either. I've always wanted to develop a HP rpg that delved into that part of life, the time when they're old enough to make their own decisions but young enough to have no idea of what they're doing. Let's face it between graduating school and becoming an adult is when we all make or biggest mistakes an our fondest memories. Imagine what that period is like for those to magic born It's a big world out there and in the HP books they only hint how big with most of that being revealed in "The Goblet of Fire" As I've shown above there could be more America is huge when compared to the wizarding world revealed in the books. It's also the land where the traditions of the old world mingled forming new ones and where the will to break those traditions was made. This is a rough Outline of an RP I had thought of but worried wouldn't garner much of a response
