For most of their personal talk, Chloe had no idea what they were talking about but still she felt inclined to listen, even as they began to bicker. A small smile crossed her face and she chuckled softly. It somehow reminded her of better times. Even though they fought she could tell that they cared about each other and that was relieving after these past few days. He stomach rumbled softly and she sighed, taking one of the bars in her pocket and biting into it. If they were going to do any of this she would need some energy; adrenaline could only get her so far. She was in the middle of eating when the man spoke to her and she stared at him like a deer in headlights for a moment before she quickly finished eating. She felt like a pig and her face felt hot. “I..I’ll do what I can.” She said, stuffing the wrapper in her pocket. When the question finally registered in her brain she shook her head. “I just rolled into town a few days ago.” She responded, “The best I can offer you is the motel I was staying at. Other than the military rolling through and those things knocking on doors there hasn’t been a lot of activity.” She began walking out of the store, when something hit her. “Wait. I did pass a weapon shop on the way here… not sure how ‘untouched’ it is though… I was just looking for food.” As they got to an intersection she pointed in the direction that she had come. “I came from that way.” She was silent for a moment and didn’t move, only thinking. “Are you sure we want to get guns? I’ve noticed those things move when they hear something like that…”
