Valentina - Haywood - Robert/Daniel/Shannon/Emma When Valentina listened to all the chatter around her, she began to feel something worm its way back out of deep inside her, but she could not understand what. Suddenly conscious that her chin was absolutely filthy with foam and saliva, she gave it a quick wipe with her jacket sleeve. As a girl just a few years older than her spoke, Valentina noticed that she got closer - as she found it hard to understand what she was saying, having never had the need to listen to so many words at one go for so long, Valentina simply could not understand her, and she feared what she could not understand. The little she could pick out did not help much. The room was becoming crowded, and Valentina became afraid. When the girl finished, Valentina froze, afraid of the crowd on one hand and wanting the food they had on the other. But in the end, fear took over and Valentina bolted for the window she had come through from, and in a heartbeat was climbing and almost got out when something hard hit her right in the face, sending her flying back. All she could see after that was whiteness, and for a split moment Valentina thought she had lost the sight in her other eye, though she could barely even think anymore. Her nose felt like it had come off and her entire face felt broken, but in reality nothing was, though she was bleeding rivers from her nose. Moaning in pain, she tried to sit up but could not, and was only rewarded with a sharp pain in her face that quickly spread to the rest of her head and neck, and she accidentally fired off her only round. All she could do after that was to cry on the floor with a eyepatch askew with nothing in her mind but pain itself; the only blessing that could ever come out of this was that she was no longer worried about danger or food. "Did I get him!? Did I get the bandit!?" A voice called out from the window, and soon a guard with a rifle appeared there.
