With the end of the year approaching, the Contest Staff have met and decided that for the months of November and December, neither RPGC nor The Twelve Labours will be running. This is largely due to practical considerations vis-a-vi poster activity and interest, but rest assured: Both contests will be returning after the New Year, hopefully along with the new addition of @RomanAria's Weekend-Edition RPGCs to help round both of them out. That is not to say nothing will be happening at all during the Winter Interim though - November, as per usual, will be dedicated to NaNoWriMo. Not a contest-per-se, but a general event to foster and encourage creative talent for those who are interested.

The final contest of the year will be starting tomorrow, October 12th, at Objective Midnight - the Twelfth and Final entry in the current iteration of The Twelve Labours. If you have ever been interested in the Guild Writing Contests and have been looking for an excuse to join one of them: This is your last opportunity to join until next year. Winners (yes, that is winners plural), in addition to having their entries enshrined in The Twelve Labours Victory Archives, can win snazzy forum trophies and custom user-titles.

We are looking forward to seeing what participants will submit for the grand finale of this iteration of The Twelve Labours, and even if you do not intend to join it is nonetheless encouraged that you think about NaNoWriMo in advance before November rolls around.

May You All Live On in Song and Story!
