Powers/Primary Skills - Daxamite physiology gives him near Kryptonian level abilities after contact with yellow suns such as enhanced physical attributes and sensory powers, as well as solar heat vision and a solar flare that some Daxamites possess.

Weaknesses - Lead can poison the Daxam native and he can be over powered by stronger opponents. Red suns as well as red solar radiation can deplete his solar reserves, same as the once great Superman. Magic also effects him with ease, as does some alien technology. Sol is also capable of being attacked mentally.

One year ago, in 2999, the Legion of Superheroes was stabbed in the back by one of their own. Brainiac 5 finally succumbed to the evil reprogramming in the back of his conscience left there by the original Brainiac of the 21st century.On that day several Legionnaires lost their lives. On his way out of sector 2814, Vril Dox/Brainiac 5 believed taking out the planet Daxam would ensure no other super-adversaries such as Mon-El would stand against him. The techno organism set a chain of events into motion that would destroy much of the world and population. Seeing heroes such as Ultra Boy, Phantom Girl, and others give their lives inspired one survivor named Sol-Us to take up the reigns as the new Ultra Boy.

After escaping death and entering the Milky Way Galaxy, Sol was given powers like others of Daxam and Krypton origin. Taking up the costumed identity of Ultra Boy after witnessing the longtime Legion member die saving several Daxamites, Sol has been giving it his all to remain on the radar of any surviving Legion members.

Notes -

* Daxam has been destroyed. There's maybe one or two starships full of maybe 250 passengers total making the race all but completely extinct. The original Ultra Boy as well as the Daxam native Mon-El, and Phantom Girl, all died trying to save the planet. Sol is the only one to have made it into the Milky Way Galaxy.

* I'm gonna dig into Sol's past in the context of the RP. What his life was like before Brainiac 5 caused massive quakes and natural disasters that ripped his planet apart...

* Though he's more accepting, coming from a xenophobic world has Sol being the most uncomfortable around the speedster Xudarian. For most of his life Sol hadn't met another alien other than his fellow Daxamites.

* Sol's signature move is based on New52 Superman's that was based on an attack used by New52 Supergirl rather frequently without draining her solar reserves.

Physically Weak: Though her mind is strong, her body is weak. She usually relies on her mental abilities to get her out of sticky situations

Brief Bio - Destiny always knew she was unique. She was able to see things no one else did, she was able to move things with her mind, she was able to remain unseen. However, her gifts told the world she was weird, a freak. She wasn't one of them, despite being born on Earth to two loving parents. She was branded and sentenced by her peers to live the life of a recluse. However, life has a habit of throwing monkey wrenches into the best-laid plans and Destiny was able to prove herself useful by predicting a major crisis before it happened, saving many lives in the process. She was no longer deemed a menace, but in fact, a hero. So she dons the colorful costume of her brethren and aims to save the world, one crisis at a time.

Alias: Bulk Lad

Powers/Primary Skills - Dai possesses the unique metabolism and body type of his Glucona people. Dai’s major organs, skin, and even jaw are elastic. So with his powers Dai can consume anything upwards of numerous feet tall or long, edible or inedible for normal people. When Dai eats his body can very rapidly fatten up. Going from a fit, albeit lean form, to a gigantic obese like size. When Dai does this his endurance, strength, and durability greatly increase the bigger he goes.

Weaknesses - Although Dai’s power grows the bigger he becomes, Dai’s mobility and speed likewise decrease. At his biggest (6‘9 and around 2 tons) he can barely move but is basically a living wall. Also while his body grows quickly the more he consumes, it can take him upwards of a few hours to shrink back to normal.

Brief Bio - Glucona was a once unoccupied planet that was discovered by Earth’s Japanese astronauts when they began heavily searching the galaxy for a second home. The planet’s atmosphere caused a biological evolutionary change in these early people. By the second generation children seemingly rapidly gained and lost weight. As time progressed the weight gained and lost grew to the point these days when its not unheard of for a Gluconian to gain and lose upwards of 800 pounds in a day. Still, these people retain bit of their Japanese heritage in eyes, naming, and general height.

Even still some Gluconians found themselves with special genes that allowed for more room to digest and grow, as well as the rare case of being able to digest inedible food. Such as the case with Dai Suwind, a young man who always seemed to have a smile on his face. Growing up Dai was able to grow in weight and size much bigger than other kids, and developed a peculiar appetite for iron. He adored the Legion of Superheroes as kids, one of his prized possessions being an autograph by Cosmic Boy. When the group was destroyed by Brainiac 5 however Dai was devastated. It was one of the very few times Dai ever cried when he heard the news.

Growing up Dai Suwind wound up becoming an athlete in his own right. Trained in the Glucona national sport of Hypersu. The planet’s take on the tradiational Japanese sport of sumo wrestling. Only instead of simply taking your opponent off his feet, it plays out more akin to amateur and even professional wrestling. Requiring a pinning of your opponent’s shoulders to the mat for a three count. Dai Suwind’s unique physiology gave him an advantage but it was his technical skill that garnered him some of the highest honors in the sport.

Notes -

- Glucona is like its ancestors in being a very technology forward planet. Cities are massive and covered in massive video ad screens, and its considered a basic for civilians on the planet to know their way around tech. Dai lives up to that end of the bargain, and has skills with devices and even ships.

- Dai's skills in hypersu are a combination of palm strikes, kicks, takedowns, and grappling. In a typical bout, the competitors are given time to not only warm up but bulk up before their bouts. They are not allowed to see or know their competitor's size until the two are in the middle of the large circle based mat. Force fields keep the competitors enclosed while still providing a great view for the crowd. Although some do wear the classic muwashi of sumo. Most stick with very elastic singlets or in Dai's case, compression shorts. All however do wear robes to the ring. It is considered a big moment in a match up when the robes come off at the same time to finally show just how big the competitors are.

- The goggles are not just because Dai thinks they make him look cool. Dai has eye issues and has always needed to wear glasses. Even when he competed in hypersu (He was the first competitor to do so).

Powers/Primary Skills - Roxy can travel through the shadows. She can also create almost anything out of the shadows. Ger shadow objects aren't as good as the real thing but most are fairly solid. She also carries several throwing knives which she is very skilled at using.

Brief Bio - Roxy is the only child of one of the Talokians generals. As a leader and trainer of warriors her father was less then happy to have his only child be a girl. He would have abandoned or killed Roxy if he thought he could get away with it but being a leader meant that many people were aware of his family and actions so instead he trained her. He was alot harder on Roxy then anyone else he trained. He punished her any time that she didn't met his standards, which was often because she was so much smaller then most that he trained. She ran away from home at 16. She headed to Earth where she had heard another Talokian had made a good life for herself.

Name - Pano-Zu

Powers/Primary Skills -
Speed Force Conduit: Pano-Zu has all the basic powers of a speedster such as super speed, Anti-friction forcefield, vibrational phasing and accelerated healing.
Xudarian Intellect: Pano-Zu is very smart like most of those of his species, however, most of his intelligence is very specific and not nearly as broad as others.

Weaknesses -
-Pano can still be cut, impaled, vaporized, etc just like any other member of his species.
-Due to Pano’s ingrained concepts about physics, he is limited in his top speed as it’s said that a speedster can go as fast as they think they can go. Due to having a scientific mind, Pano’s idea of a top speed might be lower than someone who has more imagination.

Brief Bio - Pano-Zu grew up with a great amount of admiration of the superheroes of the past. His particular favourite was the amazing Booster Gold (as there seemed to be a lot of information about him floating around in the form of everything from trading cards to B-rate movies). After the formation of the Legion of Superheroes, Pano-Zu decided he would try his hand at becoming a costumed hero. Pano-Zu began to furiously work at trying to emulate any one of the super-heroes that he knew of but his experiments always ended up ending in failure. He finally found success after researching about the Speedsters of the 21st century such as Johnny Quick and the flash. Pano-Zu began to research the phenomenon called the 'Speed Force’, supposedly the main cause of most speedster’s powers. After tireless experiments Pano-Zu once again failed to gain access to the Speed Force and in an act of fury, he broke a great deal of containers that held various chemicals he was working with. Just as his arms collided with the chemicals, a strike of lightning from the storm outside struck Pano-Zu, horribly burning him. He fell to the ground and sat there in his lab for an hour until he felt something begin to happen to him. He suddenly began to feel alright once again as he noticed he could once more move his limbs. In an act of anger filled desperation, Pano managed to achieve his goal and gain access to the Speed-Force, making him the first speedster in nearly a thousand years. He immediately packed his things and left to join the Legion of Superheroes.

Organic Iron Transformation- Ferro has the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic Iron. He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will. After transforming into Iron he possesses vast superhuman strength and is invulnerable to most forms of bodily harm.

Weaknesses -

No Anchoring Ability- Ferro is unable to anchor himself to the floor, meaning he is easily thrown around.

No Formal Combat Training- Ferro relies mostly on brute force when fighting. As a result, Ferro lags behind better trained fighters. His speed when in combat is abysmal when compared to a trained opponent or ally.

Brief Bio - Andrew Nolan and his twin brother, Douglas, were born with severely deformed faces. Horrified, their mother, Mary Nolan, a famous stage actress, abandoned them. Left in the care of an unscrupulous scientist called "Doc 30", he escaped as a teenager while Douglas remained behind. As a result of this experience, both Douglas and Andrew gained the ability to transform into living iron, from which Andrew took his name (Fe is the periodic table designation for Iron). After Braniac 5's betrayal, Ferro Lad rejoined with the remaining members of the Legion to protect them and perhaps find his brother once again.

Name - H'ron Run'il

Powers/Primary Skills - Shape-shifting, Phasing, Alien physiology

Powers

Being a cross between a Martian and a Bgztlian, H'ron inherited abilities that both species had. Gaining the ability to become intangible and phase through objects like both species the combination of his genes gives him greater control of the ability able to perform partial phases as well as phase multiple people through contact. Due to his Martian ancestry he is able to shape-shift by controlling his body on a molecular level and manipulate his form into nearly any construct he desires, even forming clothing and weapons with non-functioning parts. He can also use this ability to become rather malleable and even stretch himself to certain limits.

However, due to the cross he lost several abilities that Martians were able to perform and many other abilities were weakened. Unlike his Martian ancestors H'ron cannot become invisible, he does not have the amazing regenerative capabilities (although he can go into a meditative state to perform some minor regenerative capabilities, but he is unable to act otherwise while in this state), nor can he fly. The limits of his strength, stamina and durability were significantly diminished as well, as his predecessors were on Superman level capabilities, H'ron's abilities are no where near those levels though he is stronger than most normal humans. He has learned, however, that he can increase those levels through training but can still not reach those Superman levels.

The Martian's enhanced senses are another thing that H'ron seems to be lacking, as his vision and hearing are on par with humans with perfect vision and hearing. He is also unable to perform the extrasensory input that many Martians were able to that gave them what other perceived as precognitive abilities. He has found that shifting into certain animals and beasts can counter this downfall but he must remain in that form to gain the effects of those innate abilities belonging to them.

Perhaps the biggest loss of the crossbreeding was the loss of any and all mental abilities. H'ron is unable to perform many of the feats Martians were able to such as telekinesis, telepathy(including telepathic relay and telepathic assault), creating illusions, mind control, and thought sensing.

Weaknesses - H'ron has the innate fear of fire that all Martians have. He can do better than most with small flames such as a candle or match, but anything larger and his 'Fight or Flight' reflexes kick into overdrive forcing him to get as far away from the flame as possible. If the flame is large enough and spreads quick enough before he can react the fear of the flames can render him useless even putting him into a catatonic state.

It also seems that due to his lack of mental abilities he is more susceptible to mental attacks, such as mind control, possession, and telepathic assault. He has yet to be the target of any of them, but he tries to constantly be on guard for any such attacks.

Appearance -

Brief Bio - H'ron grew up like any other Bgztlian, until at a young age his Martian abilities began to develop. Unable to keep it hidden from his parents for very long it was H'ron's Father that taught him everything he would need to know about his shape-shifting abilities, and any other powers that manifested. He never asked his father why they were the only ones that could do the thing they were able to, but he trusted his father enough not to tell anyone about it when asked. This went on for most of H'ron's life as abilities manifested, or rather a lack of abilities that his Father expected never manifested, until he was 20. Afterwards he dedicated his time to training and joining the Science Police, until he learned of what had happened to the Legion at the hand of Brainiac 5. Since he learned of that he has made his way to Earth to join the Legion.

Notes - The only outward proof of his mixed ancestry are his bright red eyes.

Powers/Primary Skills - Super bouncing: Isaak is able to build up extremely high amounts of momentum and is able to transfer it from one surface to another incredible efficiency, which allows him bounce off things like an incredibly fast super ball. With each bounce his momentum can increase and when he is bouncing a glowing blue field of energy surrounds him that grants him this power. When his mommentum builds up Isaak is immune to blunt force damage depending on the sheer power of the force he is colliding with, basically the more momentum he has built up the more immune to blunt force damage he is.

Brief Bio - Isaak is the hybrid between a human and a Zornian. Zornians were known to have a few among their race to have the special power of being able to bounce off surfaces like the earth toy known as a super ball. Isaak was one of these individuals and from an early age he was not treated very well thanks to his human heritage and the taboo of his mother falling in love with an alien species such as the humans. His father was an explorer of space and had found his mother when he visited Zornia for the first time.

His mother was the only thing that he had loved more than exploration of the final frontier and Isaak was born from their love. Zornians were not very welcoming of humans since the history of the race was flooded with violent wars and bloodshed, to them the humans were a threat to peace. That is why Isaak was considered an outcast and his mother denounced as a traitor.

After several years of putting up with their shunning, Isaak and his family moved away from Zornia to go and live on earth where the legendary team of heroes known as The Legion of Superheroes had their headquarters. Isaak had dreamed of joining the group since he had a special power of his own, but when the group was all but massacred by the now evil Brainiac 5 he was dumbstruck at what the thing had done to his former teammates.

Now with rumors of the Legion rising out of the ashes of Brainiacs terrible betrayal, Isaak sought to join them and help bring down the evil that threatened the galaxy.

Brief Bio:
Horus Hol was born to a Thanagarian mother and a very brave father. He practiced standard martial arts like many of his people, but he could not compare to a 'true' hawk-folk. Rather than be a blight, he decided to peruse his intellect and became a historian, studying tactics and techniques of all species with plans to become an officer rather than merely a solider.

All during high school, he was plagued by nightmares of being killed over and over with waking hallucinations of being somewhere else and speaking strange languages. This all culminated when he had a nap at lunch with the nightmare of being killed, he woke up into the middle of a hallucination and fell off a bridge where he got hit by a school transport. He should have been dead, perhaps he even did die, but he came back from the brink and everything suddenly made sense. All six thousand years of it.

He was the newest incarnation of hawkman, but since it seemed silly to state his obvious gender, and his half-breed nature. He streamlined it to merely "Hawk". He was visited in the hospital by a boy in a hover-chair with an interesting offer.

During her ambush on an illegal trade of rare beasts, she was hit by the lightning bolt, giving her the abilities similar to the Legion’s founding member, Lightning Lad. Now retired from duty, she once again serves as the protector of peace as the Bolt.

Weaknesses - Suffers from severe anxiety disorder, however when she's on her meds she's more stable. Same standard weaknesses for any human in light futuristic body armor.

Brief Bio -

The planet Xanthu was a planet colonized by the people of Earth around the 30th century. The planet had several mountains in it's geography, and after exposure to certain alien elements in the mountains dozens of people have been born with metahuman abilities. Teala Kallor was one of these metahumans, however she kept her abilities secret until her anxiety got out of control in secondary school. Afterwards she was put on medication and eventually participated in an Olympics type of athletic program/tournament as the governments were looking to create a unit of super police to protect the planet.

Soon after, Cosmic Boy along with Lightning Lad, and Saturn Girl formed the Legion when Teala was still just fifteen years old. With the permission and support of her family, Teala flew across an entire space sector to make it to Earth to join this new superteam and protect not just one planet but the entirety of the United Planets. During her trip, Teala crossed the trail of a strange comet and was given powers rivaling that of Kryptonians and Daxamites. These powers quickly faded after her first mission with the team fighting the Fatal Five, however Teala found a new ability in channeling cosmic energy through a metal weapon or object. She called herself Stargirl from that point on after crashing through the Superhero Museum in Metropolis while battling Validus.

After years of standing with the Legion, when Brainiac 5 stabbed the team in the back, Stargirl was hit hard after the death of her teammate from Naltor, whom she had feelings for. She remained off the radar like several other Legionnaries but also stopped taking her meds for some time until Cosmic Boy met her with a flight ring in his hand.

Notes - When she joned the Legion years ago, her original alias was 'Gravity Girl' and she possessed gravity manipulation as well as super strength, speed, and durability from exposure to the comet trail. After her first mission with the team her new powers burned out fighting the behemoth Validus and she was thrown through the Superhero Museum. In the debris she found a cosmic staff replica from a Star Girl (of the 21st century) display and managed to channel cosmic energy to blast Validus. Brainiac 5 at the time thought this cosmic staff was the real deal from the 21st century but proved that to be false. He then discovered her new ability to channel cosmic energy through a metal conduit.

Her staff has several compartments with her meds and is nigh unbreakable. At times it's as if she rides on it while in flight. Anyone can pick the staff up and use it like a weapon, however Teala is the only one who can channel cosmic energy through it and blast people.

This is a genderbent take on Starboy, right down to the relationship with a Legion member from Naltor. Came up with the Gravity Girl schtick after reading about Starboy's extra powers from his classic adventures but made Teala's more short term. Made her alias as Stargirl come from crashing through the museum and gave her the staff/added power since we don't need anymore Kryptonian like muscle.

Powers/Primary Skills -
~ Transform. By calling on the name of the wizard from whom his powers originate, he can transform between his true self, as a 12 year old boy, or Captain Marvel, who appears to be a man in his twenties.

~ Super Strength, speed, stamina, and flight. His powers are not as great as the Captain Marvel of old, as the magic of the wizard that granted them is currently spread across multiple people.

~ Magic. Like the Captains before him, Marvel can call lightning with ease, as well as share his powers if he so chooses(dividing his own power in half in the process). He has the capacity to cast spells as if he were a sorcerer, though he has little knowledge of magic.

~ Magical Vision. Can see the magic of spells laid out, allowing him to trace enchantments and use his own magic to unravel them.

Weaknesses - When in his true form, he is an ordinary near-human child, and can only transform by either saying “Shazam!” or by playing a recording of his own voice saying it.
Likewise, a recording of his own voice could be used to force him to change back. Only Tommy Tinker’s voice can transform him into Captain Marvel, and only Captain Marvel’s voice can change him back.

Brief Bio - Tommy Tinker is a poor kid from Hell’a Gate. The child of a single father, it's not uncommon for him to be left to his own devices for most of the day, seven days a week. He tends more towards video games than sports which is unfortunate for someone without much pocket money to spend. Without being able to afford a computer or gaming console, he has to chip away at his meager allowance to visit the video arcade to get his fix.

One day, on the way to the arcade, he saw a stray cat, one he had seen many times before. It was looking scrawnier than he was used to seeing it, and he felt bad for the creature. In a fit of generosity, he purchased a can of wet cat food with the money he was on the way to the arcade with, and sat petting the cat as it ate.

When it was done licking its chops, it suddenly spoke in the clear, strong voice of a grown woman.

“I see a good heart in you, Thomas Tinker. Should you ever find yourself in a position to save people from graver dangers than hunger, call the name of the wizard, Shazam, and take a portion of my powers.”

Timmy could not believe his ears, and to date, has not dared to utter the magic word the cat gave him. He's afraid to say it, only for nothing to happen, and for his hopes to be dashed away.

Brief Bio: Cadmus existed off and on for over a century sometimes under different names but always with the same goal, protecting humanity from metahuman threats. Gathering DNA from various metahumans across the globe they began cloning many of them. Many of the clones were unstable emotionally and began attacking the facility. Those clones were destroyed, the rest were kept cryogenically frozen. Years later while they were still working out the kinks in the mental instability problem the facility was almost completely destroyed. Subject 24F was the only subject to survive and buried for centuries.

Her pod’s energy source eventually ran out and she awoke. After digging herself out of the rubble she found herself on an island owned by some gigantic megacorporation used for retreats, secret meetings, and rendezvous with their mistresses. They tried to claim her as their property but she destroyed the mansion on the island. She ventured out into the rest of the world.

Notes: She took the name Maxima based on the rubble she saw underground. During the destruction of the megacorporation’s mansion she claimed a sword she found there as hers.
