Visitor messages problem and random suggestion I've been thinking about.

So I keep getting a notification that a visitor message has a new reply or whatever and I look at my VM's and nothing new there. Anyone else got this problem? Any solutions?

Other than that, I might as well give a suggestion since I've been thinking about it for a while. The site becoming mobile friendly. I don't mean an app, though that could be a good idea as well. But what I do mean is the layout of the site itself. I notice that when I don't have the browser on my pc set to maximized and make it shorter in width, it has a different layout so it doesn't have to make the text too small to read and other reasons.

What this does though, is make you have to click a button to access the search, users, logout button, and chat. Which those are things I hardly use. The one of those I use the most is users (to see if any bots are left lying around). The rest are utterly useless except to people who use the chat or logout (which I do not personally do either). But it's not like they're gone so this isn't a problem.

What I am saying is, give the mobile users that layout. It should be simple to do, considering it's there ready to be used.

I can't comment about the mobile version, because I don't really use it.

On the subject of the VM system though -- it's got a few problems. Honestly, the biggest issue to me is that in the early phases it didn't actually post my replies to people accurately. The first time I replied to someone who sent me a VM, it didn't post it to my wall at all, and the second time I posted a reply to someone else it did but it came up as a new VM to myself instead of with the proper reply format. I'm unable to delete this VM error, or the following VM I posted making a point about the error, which is annoying.

However, concerning the exact issue you mentioned -- are you saying you're getting a notification that a VM was sent to you but then you go to your wall and nothing's there? If that's what you're saying, you need to go to the wall of anyone who you've sent a VM to because it's probably a notification about a reply someone gave you after you posted a VM on their wall. I've had this issue too.

I think it said "A reply has been made on a visitor message on your wall" something like that. It happens quite often actually. And for your first issue with VM's I've had that happen to me a couple times as well, but it hasn't happened that often so I didn't mind it as much.

Yeah, even if you get that message it's still probably on someone else's wall with them replying to your post there. I got a similar message. It threw me off until a few seconds later when I remembered I'd posted on someone else's wall and thought maybe it was due to that. I don't know how often you post on other people's walls, but give it a check.

Not that I can find. I checked everyone's VM's that I remember ever posting in and nothing lel. Though most of them were a month or two ago so it'd be kinda weird for them to just randomly say something there all of sudden.
